Title: Season gameplay very slow Post by: dackerman on May 01, 2007, 03:07:28 pm Wondering if anyone has had a problem with extremely slow gameplay in seasons. Seems to happen when to sprinklers come on in the greenhouse,at least it resumed to normal once I took them out. I am sure it is not my computer as I just updated it with ram/vidio card/ect.. If there is something to fix this I would be pleased to find out what it is. I did take out all downloads/mods but did not help

Title: Season gameplay very slow Post by: dackerman on May 01, 2007, 07:09:43 pm i have a gateway 5200x with 1.5 GB Memory; x1600 Pro radeon 256 graphics card; Pentium 4 3.00GHz processor; 150GB harddrive . I have 87% free space. I have all paks except celebration. My computer sets all options on high in the game so I even tried setting them to low but when the sprinkles come on it all but stops it. Nothing else I do or where I go seems to slow the gameplay. Just when sprinklers come on. Also I have a car lot that has 3 emploees and up to 8 custumers without a propblem. I really dont think it is my computer. Thanks for your suggestions. Any More?? :)
Title: Season gameplay very slow Post by: Tenshii~Akari on May 01, 2007, 08:51:04 pm There's a mod by mike_1102 (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=229684) on MTS2 that reduces the number of loops for the sprinkler effect. Numenor (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=222748) also made one that completely gets rid of the effect.

Thanks you guys :worship: , after i put in the sprinker hack I can play and water at the same time. I have to say that after reading all the other problems people are having, mine didn't seem so bad. Thanks again everyone. What a great group of people we have here !! :lurk:
