Title: Trouble with Fountains from University Post by: Ellen Prochaska on May 22, 2007, 02:37:09 pm Is there anyone else that has had problems with the fountains that came with university??  Every time I tried using them I get an object error and have to delete my sims on the lot I am playing.  I looked up the errors in my games logs and it is from the fountains.  I took out all my downloads and it didnt matter and then I reinstalled EVERY EP and the base game, doesnt matter I think that I have a corrupt file or something.  Can anyone help?? I would like to use these objects for story telling, as soon as possible.

Title: Trouble with Fountains from University Post by: Ellen Prochaska on May 24, 2007, 10:51:06 am Yuppers, I tried that program and it worked really well.  My globals hacks seem  to be working with each other just fine.  So now I have the fun task of seeing if it is an object hack.  What happened is a few weeks ago I accidently deleted my games files (all the files under my documents/ea games/the sims 2).  So I had to download everything that I had before (the game without cc kinda sux).  So I downloaded a buttload of stuff that I had before so sorting by date won't work.  At the same time I have another issue with my game crashing and getting this blue screen that says something about not having enough memory.  Also the game is super slow so I went ahead and updated my video drivers and updated my ram from 1 gig of memory to 2 gigs of memory.  It hasn't crashed since then but it is still really slow.  I guess what my point is that I have no idea what I am doing.  It seems as though you have to be a computer programmer just to play the friggin' thing.
