Title: Cursed Puppy won't Grow Up. Post by: Norofel on June 14, 2007, 09:30:45 am Okay, I've tried about everything I can. My pet wolf and Patch finally had a puppy. Unfortunately, I took aging off that game. (It's a game with my fiancee and I. My fiancee in real life insisted that the dogs never die, because he already wished in real life they never would. I told him I'd put aging off for that reason.) Well, I checked out the cheats using 'help' and found one called "disablePuppyKittenAging on/off" I typed in "disablePuppyKittenAging off" (Disable, off, double negative, that sort of thing..) Then I used the InSIMenator to send my puppy to his last day. (Note that I had already had the puppy for a while, finally remembering that he wouldn't grow up without a push. Yes, I'm a forgetful spaz.) Well, I waited till 6:00PM, and he didn't grow up. Curious, I attempted "disablePuppyKittenAging on" and turned back to 5:00PM, then again to 6:000PM- both using InSIMenator. Nothing. I turned aging off and did the same with both. Each of my sims aged a day, yet that little puppy Beezlebul was still ONE day away from his birthday!
What am I doing wrong? Is it because I used InSIMenator? Or should I log back on the game and not add aging again? I'm really unsure of what's going on, since I tried everything I could thing of doing. Title: Cursed Puppy won't Grow Up. Post by: ancienthighway on June 14, 2007, 10:14:58 am Although I don't have Pets installed anymore, I remember something like Pets age at 11:00 am rather than 6:00 pm as the sims do. Or maybe it was some other time, but in any case it's not 6:00 pm. Let the game run a day and see if you get your adult dog.
