Title: Uploading on Insimenator Post by: Sein on July 01, 2007, 01:02:34 pm Many time when I try to upload things (like a sims2pack) they won't upload because they are "invalid". I've tried putting them into my own game and they do work, so I don't see the problem. Does anyone know what's wrong?

Thanks! I didn't realize. Title: Uploading on Insimenator Post by: Rogue777 on July 01, 2007, 02:59:37 pm You're welcome - it's part of the new uploading rules. It will save on bandwidth. :)

does bandwidth mean like banded from this site? (i know am a dum dum) =/ Title: Uploading on Insimenator Post by: Rogue777 on July 01, 2007, 03:06:22 pm No, I think you're thinking of 'banned', which is entirely different.
Think of bandwidth as the space on your computer's hard drive. Now, imagine if someone charged you for every megabyte of data that you had stored on it. You'd want to make your files as small as possible, so that you were charged less for the usage. It's not a perfect analogy, but I think it'll work. :) |
