Title: Sims 2 Install Help Post by: Wat Tambor on July 27, 2007, 06:22:55 am My computer dumped it's physical memory and I have recently got it back fixed, but I don't have my original Sims 2 discs as I lent them to a friend. However I have found there are still Sims 2 files in my EA GAMES folder in program files. I have my expansion pack discs. Whenever I play them, it asks me to install the orginal. Is there anyway I can use the files in my program files to install it? Or is there anyway I can play them again, I have them all up to Pets and they are in program files in EA GAMES without the orginal discs for the core game?
Any help would be really appreciated and would be eternally grateful. I would either write to EA tech or if you don't want to wait for a response, call them. The baby scratched up one of my cd's and they placed it in my EA link to download. lol It's working fine I was just worried if I ever had a crash. Oh well at least I know it's there if I should have one. That's the one good thing about purchasing most of them online, is that link will be there as long as EA is so I can just re-download all the ones I need.
