Title: How Do I move my sims out of their home into a new one? Post by: caffeinated.joy on August 12, 2007, 09:22:58 pm If you have multiple sims in a house and want to move one or two out, but not everyone, just have the sim you want to move go to the phone or newspaper and select "find own place". A box will pop up and you can choose the sims you want to go with him or her. A taxi will show up and take them away, and you'll find them in the family bin. It's worth noting though, that any sim you move out this way will leave with 20,000 simoleans, regardless of how much (or little) they've earned/raised.
If you want to move the entire household, go to the neighborhood screen, select the family bin, and then select the "move family" icon. Click on the household you want to move, and they'll be returned to the family bin. All of their sellable items will be sold for simoleans. Moving sims this way will allow them to keep all the money they've earned, and they'll gain back the cost of the house. Title: How Do I move my sims out of their home into a new one?
