I visited a friend in Virginia and we took a day trip down to Cape Hatteras Lighthouse in North Carolina. Driving down there I saw the most bizarre houses that I'd ever seen ... they were all built on stilts ... STILTS????
It wasn't until my friend explained to me about the hurricanes that were prevalent over in the US that I understood the reasoning behind the design. So, now we have beach lots I can finally do my interpretation of a North Carolina coastal home - no danger of flooding in this house! It is furnished - not to my taste (!) but just to give you an idea of how the layout might work, so all you interior designers get to work! CC: edit: steadfast stairs without the underneath bit I used originally were from TSR so they're now not free, so you'll need these (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=233769) from Crocobaura - just remember to follow the instructions for installation and you'll also need the Scriptorium (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=192613) and you'll need to get roddyaleixo's invisible driveway (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=90875) as for some reason the game didn't package it up in the sims2pack enjoy :) *You must have the Bon Voyage EP to use this lot and you'll also need Nightlife for the halfwalls and driveway* I have all EPs plus H&M stuffed pack, please use the Clean Installer to install the lot into your game Title: Hurricane Ida ... do your worst!
