Made in '76, this is one of the few King movies that doesn't suck. True, it is not a slasher flick. But it tells a story of an abused child, brought up by a fanatically religious mom, who thinks she is perfect and everything her daughter does is a sin. As the movie goes on, you see Carrie's remarkable powers develop, as well as her social life. Finally, a life away from mother's tyranny. Everything seems to be going for Carrie, until prom night...and we all know what happens thereafter. Aye, I did the bloody recoloring. You Like?
