I just thought of this: For some reason, in certain houses when I move a group of sims to college it doesn't seem to register that they are in a dorm.  I moved a group back out, changed the lotzoning to dorm and put them back in and it did the same thing.
The lot also for some reason, using InSIM's Info option was set as a GreekHouse though I typed "dorm".  And the Myne Doors are also in place, so that shouldn't be a problem.

This has happened twice and both times on a downloaded house/lot, but other ones have worked fine as houses for single students.  Just wondering about it.
