Title: multiple sims selected at once cannot deselect Post by: adalita on January 05, 2008, 01:47:50 am My sims are automatically selecting each other as I click on them it chooses another household member rendering the one I chose useless to move/ instruct! Urgent help as I am in a few contests!
Title: multiple sims selected at once cannot deselect Post by: ancienthighway on January 05, 2008, 07:46:33 am How many sims do you have selectable? I don't remember the exact number, but once you exceed it, clicking one sim doesn't necessarily deselect the previous one or may select 2 sims.

Also make sure you are using the right version of your mods for the latest ep you have. Without editing/changing the mods/hacks there is a temp fix (you have to do it every time). Just click into buyable mode/ build mode and then return to play mode. It will deselect the multiple sims selected. I have had this problem when I had NOTHING except the base game installed.

Apparently it's a Maxian bug (there's a surprise :roll:), and I have noticed it with even a few playable sims in the household. It can take about half a minute sometimes just to select the sim you want - not even the space bar works all the time :mad:
