Title: Looking for a new PC - please help Post by: Neptune on January 07, 2008, 01:33:52 am I'm looking at buying a new PC and need some advice on what amount of ram, hard drive size, graphics cards etc. would give me the best possible gaming experience for my $AUD2000 budget.

I have been shopping for parts so i can build my own PC and my budget is AU$1000. For this amount i am able to get the following Asus motherboard AMD 6000+ Dual core CPU 2GB RAM 320GB Harddrive 512MB graphic card Windows Vista (OEM) Thermaltake Case I would be really cautious getting it from eBay. Because you don't really know what you get or know whether all the parts are brand new and not second hand or you might get cheap parts made in China that dies after 12 months (standard warranty).
