Title: Bodyshop Will Not Start... :( Post by: razzajazza on January 10, 2008, 08:46:57 am Hey.
Im having a problem with my bodyshop. It just.... will not start. It doesn't even begin loading, it just doesnt come up. It has just started ever since I loaded H&M stuff two weeks ago. Its definately not the cache files and its not the shortcut/icon im using to open it either. It wouldn't be so much as a problem... but Im planning on uninstalling and re-installing the game and clearing out my whole downloads folder after a few contests finish, so I wanted to package my sims up safe first. (I was also planning on uploading some.) Any help is mucho appreciated. Title: Bodyshop Will Not Start... :( Post by: MixdCrysy on January 10, 2008, 09:01:42 am You can take the sims out without packaging them, they will be in your saved sims folder with an alphanumeric names and move it out with your downloads so you wont loose anything after an uninstall.
I had a weird problem after installing teen, all my recolors would show up in the 'create area' but when I went to package my sims, they would not show up. I unstinalled and reinstalled and it stopped. Hope this helps :) Title: Bodyshop Will Not Start... :( Post by: stsarina on January 10, 2008, 04:00:45 pm Are your DirectX and video drivers up to date? That caused mine to fail to open a few months back...

Title: Bodyshop Will Not Start... :( Post by: Tenshii~Akari on January 11, 2008, 01:25:01 am You can check by going to the official Microsoft site, and searching "DirectX (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/Browse.aspx?displaylang=en&categoryid=2)". The latest end-user runtime file is usually displayed at the top now, so that's the one you'd be looking for. ;)

It must have been something to do with H&M. I tried loading it with out the downloads with no luck, uninstalled H&M and tried and voila!! It works!! |
