Title: Another question about installing Sims Post by: Micke on January 11, 2008, 06:20:52 am I've re-installed The Sims and now it refuses to start. Space is not the problem because I've installed it on an external hardrive with 1T and I've got 35.7GB left on my laptop. Memory is not the problem either... What else could be the problem?

I would suggest going into your My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 Folder and then delete the following 2 files: accessories.cache groups.cache Don't worry, the game will regenerate these when it loads.
