Title: A lot problem
Post by: Sierra on January 17, 2008, 05:38:01 pm
I tried to look for this with the search box but found nothing, so if this is already asked, I apologize.

Okay, so, after installing Bon Voyage I noticed a weird problem. I am unable to place some houses on an empty lot, even though there is more than enough space and absolutely no obstacles. Does anyone else have this problem and is there a way to fix it? :oogle:

assuming you mean you can't place a house lot on a empty spot of land

-sometimes hood decorations like trees don't fully get cleared from the spot they were in, try entering another lot or going to a another hood and back, that should clear the spot.

Yes, that's exactly what I mean and I've tried everything I could think of, including several different lots from the lot catalog, clearing the areas in case of some invisible remnants, etc. Even going to another hood, as you suggested. I'm seriously starting to consider of dumbing that specific hood and begin again with a new one. Though, of course it could happen to that one too. Perhaps this is just a somekind of glitch in the game then. :-(
