Title: Insimenator crashes game Post by: calamitysxchild on January 19, 2008, 05:01:00 pm So I just downloaded the Insimenator to use in my game on my MacBook laptop, and when I started up the game, it "unexpectedly quits" every time it gets to the screen just before the neighborhood screen.
I know it's the Insimenator, because I removed it from my downloads folder, started the game again, and it worked just fine. Could I have downloaded a wrong version or something? It DOES work for Macs right? Mostly all I want it for is the individual aging stuff and to make it so I don't have to hit the space bar to see all of the sims in a family that has more than eight members. Are there other programs that could do those things? Thanks!! It's nice to see a forum devoted to Mac issues with this game. There don't seem to be a lot of Mac-friendly Sims sites. P.S. I have no expansion packs, just the base game. I'm thinking of buying Nightlife and/or some stuff packs, but I'm a college student and it takes me awhile to decide whether to make indulgent purchase like that, since money is sort of tight. :P EDIT: Well, it's months later and I'm playing The Sims 2 again, but still no answer to my question. Can anyone help me? |
