Title: No sound in game. Post by: Elenee on February 02, 2008, 11:07:35 am I have no idea what's wrong with my sims nowadays. The game starts and runs normally, but there simply is no sound. And sound settings in game won't let me open them.
I haven't done anything new, so the issue truly just appeared from nowhere. I checked my computers sound settings, but I can't find anything that would be wrong. The issue only appears in game. I even removed all hacks and mods, and checked that I had all possible patches for the game. I have all ep's and stuffpacks. Please, I don't know what to try anymore! Title: No sound in game. Title: No sound in game. Post by: Elenee on April 13, 2008, 08:18:50 am Ok. I removed ALL custom content, all mods etc. I re-installed Sims 2, all stuff packs, all ep's and all patches.

Post by: exportdry on April 21, 2008, 05:12:30 am You could system restore your system to a date which you did have sound in sims 2, just make sure you make a restore point for your system so if it does not work you can retsore back just incase things get funny with your OS after system restore.
Happens but not to the point where the PC becomes unstable. |
