Title: sims 2 exeption Post by: Consuela on February 23, 2008, 01:09:12 pm I completely cleaned up my pc (restore cd) and installed my sims game upto seasons.
BV still does not work for me. Never had any problems with seasons, but today the sims 2 program got stucked. In my log are two files with sims 2 exepion, one is a mdmp file and can not upload. Can some one tell me what this means and how can I fix this? Thanks..... Title: sims 2 exeption Post by: caffeinated.joy on February 23, 2008, 03:29:31 pm Exception code: 0xC0000005 (-1073741819) ACCESS_VIOLATION.
System memory: 1024 Megabytes total, 224 Megabytes free I've copied the two lines above from your exception log. That exception code is related to a problem with your ram and can be cause my a bad driver, spyware, or bad ram. You can read more about it here (http://www.updatexp.com/0xC0000005.htmlhttp://). The second line gives me two vital pieces of information. It tells me how much ram you have and how much you have available to run your game. The game needs 256 mb to run the game, but there's only 224 mb free, in spite of you having over 1gb. Something may be running in the background to eat up your ram, or you might have a bad stick. Hi caffeinated.joy, I think my pc has to go to an expert, because I take all the steps you have told me before and I keep on getting errors that points at my driver or ram. Thank you for you're affort (again). |
