Title: Custom Sims, Genetics & Clothes issue Post by: silverandcold65 on March 05, 2008, 01:18:14 am I have this problem where custom hair, clothes, skins, makeup, etc. won't show up. Now, my premade sims with custom content are the same as they always were and can change into clothes already bought, but I can't get the custom stuff to show up to buy or to change their appearance with.
I tried restarting the game several times, because that usually makes objects show up. The custom stuff won't even show up in CAS. The only hacks I have are the FT ones: nohumble SW-Employees-Make-Pottery-Dammit SW-Model-Trains-Dont-Burst-Into-Flames SW-Predestined-Hobby-Adjuster SW-Stop-All-Hobby-Related-Idle-Gestures And I don't have any careers or objects (I even removed the Official Maxis custom ones). Help? Title: Custom Sims, Genetics & Clothes issue Post by: UglyTownie on March 05, 2008, 03:24:46 am It sounds like you have them enabled, but just have the 'Catalogs Show Custom Content' option unchecked. It should be under Game Options right next to the other custom content settings.
Title: Custom Sims, Genetics & Clothes issue Post by: Theraven on March 05, 2008, 10:19:54 am if you're installing with the regular maxis installer, the problems starts there. it never install things properly. use Sims2pack Clean Installer instead. it installs everything correctly.
