Title: Hagia Sophia--#5 in my 8 Wonders for '08 Post by: Artamaeus on March 26, 2008, 09:29:09 pm Famous in particular for its massive dome, it is considered the epitome of Byzantine architecture. It was the largest cathedral in the world for nearly a thousand years, until the completion of the Medieval Seville Cathedral in 1520.
Because of it mass, there is very little grass for your sims to play on. I know the lot is small for this building--I found that out when I was 3/4 done. But I was so close to finish I figured I could make it fit; and I did--barely. This former mosque has enough space for a family of six. But the third floor is unfinished and so you can have eight, or download a patch that allows more than the default maximum amount of sims you can have on one lot. (You'll have to locate it yourself, I have never needed this patch so I don't know where it is.) This price of this structure is rather steep at over 147,000.
