Title: hlep with crashing Post by: mzslim on April 14, 2008, 09:31:39 pm ok i recently downloaded a furniture set im not sure what it is exactly but every time i go to the collections file and try to use them the game automatically crashes im trying to find the file but i cant all i know is what it says one the little tab which is 4esf im trying to locate it using sims 2 clean installer but i cant find it please help me:smt120
Title: hlep with crashing Post by: CHEZPMRRICKS on April 14, 2008, 11:40:26 pm what if you tryed taking things out of the downloads one at a time and go into your game if not that one put it in a folder on your desktop until you find so it like each one you take out just put in there so you dont lose owt if that helps i do my self and it works
Title: hlep with crashing Post by: Theraven on April 15, 2008, 12:50:10 pm If the furniture works, but the game crashes when you try using the collection file, then you should remove the collection file itself. Might be corrupted or something. If the game crashes when you use the furniture after that, just remove the furniture, too.
Might also be that it was created using furniture from an EP you don't have, and that the furniture now isn't compatible with the EP's you've got. You should also read the text throughly before downloading, in case something needs meshes or hack fixes, or if it needs an EP to work. Downloading something you really don't know what is, is a bad idea. (And please use punctuation or commas when you write out your problems. It's really confusing when the text is jumbled all together...) |
