Title: download problem Post by: EKozski on May 19, 2008, 03:34:45 pm The whole problem was, everytime we clicked to download the file, an error page kept showing up.
I went to all the posts medicienemanx made and tried to download the file, the exact same thing happened, an error page. So, I don't know....... Title: download problem Post by: Tenshii~Akari on May 19, 2008, 04:26:51 pm I don't quite remember, but you may need to either update your Java (http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_xpi.jsp?locale=en&host=www.java.com:80) or Flash (http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash) plugins for whatever browser you're using to get files off of Mediafire properly. Either that, or you're supposed to get a pop-up explaining that you need to download an ActiveX control from the site in order for it to work... I don't recall, since it's been a while since I had to do anything to get it to work. :dontknow:

Title: download problem Post by: EKozski on May 19, 2008, 05:49:59 pm Ahhhhhhh, I see.
I have all my pop-ups blocked. EDIT: I just tried again. I allowed pop-ups, and the error still showed up when I clicked to download the file. I double checked my Java, it's up to date. Title: download problem Post by: Tenshii~Akari on May 19, 2008, 07:16:58 pm And your Flash player also? Not sure what else I can think of that the site requires...
Title: download problem Post by: EKozski on May 19, 2008, 07:56:26 pm Flash is up to date also.
I think it's incredible that two or three different people, in different parts of the world have the exact same problem. |
