Title: What am I doing wrong? Packaging and Compressing Help needed! Post by: laydeek on May 28, 2008, 04:59:12 am Ok... try and follow... I have packaged a lot. I have opened the lot with the sims clean installer. I clicked on the house button. saved with another name.
ok Now... I now seem to get a file, with the name I used to save and the original package file?? Which one do I compress? There are threads on uploading and packaging, but not compression.... Help! Try installing the new lot to see if it comes up in your bin.
As far as compressing, I believe you're talking about using RAR (preferred) or ZIP to compress the file so that you can upload it. Let us know if you need more help. :) Title: What am I doing wrong? I just get the original package file with another page like file with the new saved name.
