Title: Finding corrupt file?? Post by: Missaldith on August 13, 2008, 03:41:02 pm Recently I downloaded lots of cc and when I start Bodyshop it crashes even before it`s loaded. I have removed cigen file, content registry and so on. Do you know any programme that can find the corrupt file?? I have all EP`s
Thanks in advance Title: Finding corrupt file?? Post by: DarkAmaranth on August 14, 2008, 10:19:07 am Simpe might help with it's scanner but, it isn't a get it - use it now and don't screw up your game even worse program. You have to read and learn how to use it FIRST.

It must be corrupt files since it crashes everytime it has loaded half, `don`t you think so?? Title: Finding corrupt file?? Post by: ancienthighway on August 15, 2008, 08:38:14 am There's no program that can tell you what file is corrupt or what EP/SP is needed for it. What you are describing as happening in BS indicates a mesh that requires an EP/SP you don't have. With it happening in BS, it's either clothing or hair.
You can use CI or DDO to help identify the meshes to help you look for what you've downloaded that isn't compatible, but it boils down to taking out the new downloads and then trying them in a way that you can narrow down the problem. I do have all EP`s so the meshes should be there Title: Finding corrupt file?? Post by: ancienthighway on August 16, 2008, 04:53:30 am Clean Installer

On a off chance, when you went back in game, did you enable custom content? Also, when you do your search in your downloads folder,or Sims 2 folder, search for that packsage file only. e075ce79Eve3.package Title: Finding corrupt file?? I appreciate your effort in helping me. I did not open game. I don`t think it has anything to do with the missing hairs. Even if I have costum hairstyles installed they don`t show up, but everything else does (exept maxis hairs) so just one hairstyle, a black one of maxis |
