Title: Wait...What?!?1eleven
Post by: Rennieroo on August 15, 2008, 07:17:44 pm
Yesterday I spent around two hours deleting unwanted CC from buy mode ingame. Today, I booted up sims to enjoy a more simpified game, but all the CC had reappeared!! Why didn't it permanently delete?
Thanks

What I do is, just go straight to my downloads folder and take it out.

But, you might want to delete your groups.cache and inside your thumbnails folder delete all those.

The game will regenerate them next time you start it up.

Hmmm... the reason I was deleting ingame was because I couldn't identify them in my downloads folder.... I guess I'll have to do it the hard way :)

What might help you is, if you remember who made what, then go by files names.

I make a mental note about everything I download. Who made what, file name and recolors. If by chance I'm wrong, I still have the zip file to go by.

When you download a house, it goes into your teleport folder.

When you start the game up, it goes into your downloads folder.

If it's crashing, you may/might have Custom Content not compatible to your EP's.

Always check to see if you have the right EP's before you download anything.

Try looking threw your download folder with Sim2pack installer. You'll be able to see what it is you want to delete, and delete it.
