Title: Problem Installing Post by: jamesabrown1 on September 03, 2008, 10:47:15 am Go to my computer, open the drive and look for a launch icon, it should say something like autorun, or autoinstall, or setup, or some such. Double-click that and it should take off.
Title: Problem Installing Post by: Chantel25 on September 04, 2008, 08:37:55 am Thanx jamesabrown1, I tried that also and it just says D: drive. But when I put in Freetime it works fine, I think I'm just gonna get a video card. Could anyone suggest a good one for me?!? Thanx for everyone's help :)
Title: Problem Installing Post by: ancienthighway on September 04, 2008, 11:14:09 am AL comes only on a DVD. The specs you've given for your computer lead me to believe you've got a CD drive, not a DVD drive.
Title: Problem Installing Post by: zilzos on September 04, 2008, 01:22:35 pm If freetime works then its not that your computer doesnt have a dvd drive as all my expansion packs are only dvd compatible.
Can you play dvd's on your computer ok ? If so your then your fine. Insert your dvd - Open up start menu and click on computer - you should have hard disk drive/drives and also a DVD drive (mine is E) - a little sims icon should be visable and if so double click it and hopefully it should launch. Fingers crossed Title: Problem Installing Post by: Chantel25 on September 05, 2008, 08:06:05 am I tried it and it didnt play the DVD. And I only have a A: & D: drive in the My Computer option. But the system requirements are the same as free time and yet freetime works fine and al is being a pain in my @$$!!!! But I guess now I need a DVD drive?!?
