That's one of my outfits, and I usually name my infant outfits something like "infant(outfit/dress/onesie/blanket)_*nameOfOutfit*_NOHAT/Pacifier--nohat/pacifier"

* try to capture pictures when the sim is actually looking at the camera. It's hard to see how someone looks like when you only see the back of their head ;) * Use cameraman mode (tab button) to zoom further in, and to rotate the camera (steer it with the mouse, arrow buttons, Q, E) * use the biggest ingame picture size, and best quality on the pictures (they only take up slightly more space - around 40-80kb per picture, including the thumbs). The game won't go much slower, but the pictures becomes less blurry, and more detailed :) Title: Re: 0BretttterB0's simmies! That gives wonderful, sharp pics and you can then crop and resize the pic to your heart's content! :)

I've had some troubles with it lately (some computer graphic settings, I believe...) but usually it works like a dream. You'll need Photoshop or gimp though, to resize and/or crop the pictures. I mostly stopped using the ingame camera ages ago - at least I never use it for contests or story pics. But with graphics on the highest, and with the biggest, and best quality photos, you can get somewhat good pictures with the ingame camera, too - if you don't want to fill up your computer with a bunch of pictures on half a MB each... :)

If you're using Vista, and the search function there, then it's no wonder you can't find it. The XP search function works and nothing else than files with the searcch word inside shows up. The one in vista and probably also Win7 is quite stupid, and anything can pop up, not only files with the word inside. Usually it only works if you're extremely lucky. Trust me. I know what you mean about big weddings. I used to never have them because all I used to do was legacy's. So I'd always have them propose then get married on the spot (ie the bathroom). But now that I'm playing my game more, Ive started giving wedding party's. And boy, they are a mess. So hectic. Happy, actually she's not a plantsim, she's an alien, it's just an alien skin I got from PT replacements on GOS. But if you put exsessive fertilizer on crops, sims can become plantsim that way. First... if you come over a kid (or anyone, really) who isn't breathing, and you've got no idea for how long he has not been breathing, a lengthy 911 call before you do anything could turn out to be a stupid move. Tell them the kid isn't breathing, tell them where to come, and start doing something. If he needs "plenty of breathing help", he most likely needs it right now (remember the ABC's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ABC_(medicine))). Get help quick, and start helping the poor kid. If you haven't been breathing for several hours, you're most likely dead, since your heart stops within a very short time, and since your brain cells starts dying after about 5 minutes without oxygen. Hypothermia (lower than normal temperature) might preserve the brain for a while longer (the general rule after drowning in cold water/hypothermia is usually that "you're not dead until you're warm and dead") but in general 5 minutes or more without oxygen might be enough to cause severe brain damage. Second... intubation usually only happens if the patient doesn't breathe on his own, or when there is great danger for stopping to breathe and you have to secure the airways, like under anesthetics. If the patient is unconscious but breathes on his own, there is no need for intubation - only need to secure airways, like the recovery position or with a few other tools. An oxygen mask is probably better in that situation. Third... gower's sign is the maneuver kids with (especially) DMD use to get themselves up from the floor. On all fours, and then walk hands up their legs until they stand. Stamping their feet (with any force, anyway) might actually be more difficult than getting up from the floor - at least at that age, when walking and balancing on one leg is starting to get really difficult. fourth... CCU is short for coronory/cardiac care unit (or variants of this). And how did the doctor know if his heart was the problem without actually checking it? fifth... it's possible to breathe through an endotracheal tube (without a ventilator/bag). But it might be uncomfortable, especially while taking it out. sixth... if a young girl comes over someone twisting in pain, it's more likely she would be afraid, and run straight to an adult to tell. Or simply stood watching. And I doubt she would have left her little sister. And somehow I do have a feeling that a certain someone likes story twists, names, and probably also haircuts from my story a little too much... am I right? ;) But I also have to say that you are getting much better at writing ;) Title: Re: *Katie's cuties~ (Update July 8th!) (and to go with you're order:) First... Okay so he was breathing, just not enough... :P And it was a stupid move for the person on the other end really, asking stupid questions! Second... he wasn't breathing on his own at first, really they had had to defib him as well, but I couldn't do pictures for that at all.... *fail* Third... Exactly, he was being helped up the way a normal person would get up, so it was difficult- especially after collapsing. And as for the feet stamping, adrenaline is powerful ;) He was afraid for his brother's life. Fourth... he did check it... but I don't have a stethescope, so I just left that out... then, when writing it (after doing pics! Backwardsss!) I forgot some *important* details... Fifth... Well he was trying to breathe on his own, and was becoming panicky, so they went to oxygen mask (and let's pretend I have some source of oxygen nearby...) Sixth.... this young girl is very brave- and he reminded her of her mother (erm... I can't remind what I decided was wrong with her...) and her sister, and she didn't want to leave him alone. If you know something happens, but the reader doesn't know since you don't write it, then it might as well never have happened in the story. If you write "He is not breathing" then the reader thinks he's not breathing. If you write "He is barely breathing" or "he has troubles breathing" instead, then it makes much more sense. I tend to re-write the text until I'm mostly happy with it, then take pictures, and then do the final editing to the text so that everything fits together. If there is an important part of the story that I struggle to do a picture for, then I either rewrite the part so it's easier, or simply don't put in a picture right there. I wrote it exactly as I meant it. Anything I re-write is terrible. Really bad. I always stick with the first thing. She rubbed her forhead, hoping for proof that nothing had happened. Shocked, a breath slid out quickly, making a soft noise. There was nothing there. Then, she turned to look behind her. She had been expecting her little brother to run and push her in. She had forgotten that he was dead. "I miss him." She told herself. She looked down in the water, and she noticed it was blood red. She jumped up, and her leg gave way. She fell in. The bandage that had been there previously wasn't there, she'd taken it off. Her leg was bleeding freely into the lake. She struggled against the waves. Her head slammed up and into the dock. Remembering that she had nothing and no one, she gave up. It wasn't until moments later that he found her. "Emily!" He shrieked. He jumped into the water and saw her plummeting into the depths. He grabbed her by the shoulders and shoved her toward the surface. "Luke!" She screamed, seeing him beside her. There never would have been three movies called "Toy Story" if they had not re-written a big part of the plot in the first movie. If Toy Story had been scrapped, Pixar would most likely have had to shut down and probably never again made an animated movie. Did you know that? I don't always rewrite everything, but I do look over a text at least twice, and often ten to even a hundred times (depending on whether I'm happy with the 2nd edition or if I'm still unhappy about something the 99th version). I treat the first edition as the basic idea. The editing I do is everything from minor grammar to write entirely new parts, or rewrite what I already have so that it sounds better. If I had not rewritten LFB, it would have ended on around 20 chapters, and looked really crappy... Rewriting often gives me ideas, and several times I've ended up rewriting a couple of lines so that they form an entirely new chapter on several pages. And I meant that you can write things even if you don't have a picture of it, or don't know how to do the picture. Of course, there's always something! This time it actually wasn't the computer, but the Windows program ('twas a knock-off). At least I'm getting better at saving files, still, I haven't had time to re-install everything. Thanks! I have an almost up-to-date set of grandkids so things are looking up. I decided to make one of my sons get married and then his wife commited suicide so he turned gay (not exactly a good reason, but hey- I love him.) and now he's married to a really cute sim and they are my favorite couple!
