Title: Picture Question
Post by: SenkoTwiik on January 17, 2009, 12:16:54 am
Hi everyone, this is just something little. It isn't a big conflict or anything, but I have a problem that comes up when I want to take pictures of my sims in groups.

I will try to do a picture of two or more sims, and I can get the first two to stand shoulder to shoulder, or as close as I want them to stand. But if I try to put anymore sims beside those two, the sim I am moving slips sideways, or goes up in the air! I have the "boolProp snapObjectsToGrid false* on, and even with pose boxes, I can't get more than two sims close together.

Someone please tell me what I am doing wrong. I would appreciate it. I need to get some family portraits done, without weird looking sims.

Thanks

It's a matter of continuing to try to place them close together and seeing how close you can get them without the sideways in the air business. If you have OFB, you can also try to place the sims on a magisplay tray, then move the magisplay tray around to get a tight grouping. You can get a clear "invisible" recolour of the magisplay tray on MTS2 so it won't show in your pics.

Thanks, I will definitely try that. I try and try the other way, the part with trying to place them closer and closer together, but it never works. I spent 15 minutes trying to pose my sims once, and it was just 3 of them. It would not work. But the magisplay tray is a good idea.
