Title: Functionally Retarded: TMCD *Special mini-episode added!*
Post by: Devilfish on February 23, 2009, 11:33:27 am
So I needed a break from my story (Swinging on a Star) and a chance to do something a little more whimsical, and decided to start an LJ for any challenges I may feel like doing. So here's my take on the Million Dollar Challenge!

Intro (http://simscribe.livejournal.com/791.html)
Week 1: The Million Dollar Challenge (http://simscribe.livejournal.com/1160.html)
Week 1.2: Lesbian Spank Inferno (http://simscribe.livejournal.com/1533.html)
Week 2: The Big Fiery Ball Visible From Space (http://simscribe.livejournal.com/2411.html)
Week 2.2: Attack of the Deranged Mutant Killer Monster Snow Goons (http://simscribe.livejournal.com/3230.html)
Mini-episode: Mimi hears a Whoooo (http://simscribe.livejournal.com/3792.html)

I hope you enjoy it :)

OMG what a riot! This reminds me of my own experiments with sticking eight adult sims in a house and leaving them to their own devices to see what would unfold. This had me in stitches!

Alfie is so pathetic, he's adorable.

yeah it is funny, guess we'll see how it goes, cuz it looks like it's getting crazy. Almost makes me wanna try it, but i don't know.... I'm already in the middle of the like 3 challenges..... but yeah. ever played the Asylum Challenge? it's kinda reminding me of that.

oh and the house is pretty-ful :) i like it.

Actually it was a tossup between The Asylum challenge and this one. I just wanted to make a whole bunch of unusual looking sims, because I've got so much 'weird' cc I'm not using, and stick them in a short challenge (short as in: not a legacy, because those take forever). I'm planning to do that one next, but we'll see how this goes first.

It goes well though. I'm having fun and I'm glad you guys enjoy it as well. Everyone's a winner and I get my childhood validated!

You have an *cough* interesting household there!  I love the fantasy skins everywhere.

It's a Peggy recolour, and I think one of the lovely people at GoS did it. I may be wrong, but I think it's part of this set (Nebulosa): http://www.digitalperversion.net/gardenofshadows/index.php?topic=8251.0

Apologies, that's Tulli :p
Leal's hair is here: http://www.digitalperversion.net/gardenofshadows/index.php?topic=2458.0

Oh man, I'm really bad with letting my sims die. I usually try to make their little lives as happy and perfect as I can, so leaving them to fend for themselves is pretty much torture for me :-p

lol. these guys are awesome. and yay for updates. sorry about ur computer like dieing though.... but this i'm afraid is the fate of all us downloadaholics.... for some of us it just takes longer than others. i say as a struggle to keep my downloading under control and my download organized. though i will agree, no/less CC does lead to faster game, which is nice.

and i have to agree that BV is about useless, though if memory serves from years adn years ago, the vaca pack for sims1 kinda well sucked too, but that was so long ago, I don't remember. BV does have a good object or three, and the kimono's are kinda cute.... the walk to lot is ok... yeah that's about all I got for good things about it.

Yeah, the only reason I kept buying the EPs (and SPs for that matter) was because lots of really awesome mods and items require them. I hardly ever bought them for the pack itself, although I really liked Seasons. I remember that first vacation EP for the Sims 1. It was pretty bad then and it's pretty bad now.
