As requested:
This mod prevents all Sims except romance & pleasure aspiration sims from getting the get caught cheating fear.
This mod should work with all versions of The Sims 2.
I only posted this as in testing because I don't have any sims with that fear to see if it's working.

I try to ensure that all of my mods are 100% bug free but sometimes a bug pops up that I wasn’t aware of; if you find a bug please send me a private message; I can usually fix it within a couple of minutes.

Thank you Squinge! It seemed kind of stupid family sims were scared they were going to get caught cheating. ;)

I am guessing this does not automatically remove a want if it is already present, right?

I will be testing this on a family Sim who has rolled the want a couple of times already, and in fact has that want now. Will let you know if I see it re-roll.

You may be right;  I believe with most global hacks it works that way.

Loaded the family and re-rolled wants for the Sim in question about 50 times. The want never came back up—looks like you did it!

Still have to test if Romance Sims in a relationship can still get it though (I don't have any attached RomSims in my current ‘hood).

It usually comes up right after a Sim ties the knot, especially if they'd had a previous love before their spouse.  So.....those are the Sims to keep an eye on to see if this is working as advertisized.  So far, so good for mine, btw Squinge.

:lol:  lol, btw if you are using my buy maternity clothes at shop mod & are also using Inteen I just realized today that they conflict I wasn't sure if you read my post about that.

I just rolled the want for a Romance Sim. So that part also works. Great work Squinge.

/edit: just realized I've been referring to the fear as a want all the time… I spend too much time in SimPE ^.^

Is this new version working for everyone?, because if it is I want to move it of of testing:)

I will be playing the sim couple I wanted this for later on tonight, so will double check that it works, and let you know asap

I dont know if this conflicted with something else, but I had this and the faithful wants hacks in game, and my sims couldn't get close, as in cuddle, make out etc, if they were on a sofa or in bed, they would jump up off it, I'm still taking out and putting in different hacks to see just what it may have been, so if its working fine for others, obviously its something I have in my folder that not compatible with it.

That almost sounds like a conflict with some other mods you have, have you tried using the sims 2 hack conflict utility to check?
 
edit: not conflicting with this mod but other mods you have.

I'm sure its because of an "outside" mod also, will run the hack utility today and see what shows up.

Have no conflicting mods, according to the hack utility, my sims still have the get caught fear, however that's probably due to them having it before I put this mod in, now I have a male sim who went swimming, and no matter what he does since then he has "bubbles" following him around, have no idea what has caused that, so now have to try working that one out!

I just updated my Swimming Pool Conversation (http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=8113) mod, it was causing bubbles to appear around sims it's now fixed:)

Thats interesting, cos I didn't get that one! (swimming pool conversation) I tried the "no get caught cheating" mod, and it appeared as soon as a couple got married, for both of them in the fears panel, so it doesnt appear to "take out" the fear.

That is strange then, I had the same problem with the bubbles but it was caused by the swimming pool conversation so I thought you were using that same mod:)

Ok thanks, will try it out on a "new" pair of sims, as well as the other couple I used who have the fear shown up, and see what goes.

I have tried out this mod on a family aspiration couple, and the fear of getting caught hasn't come up at all, so I'm guessing its working fine, thanks for all these wonderful mods, makes the game so much more entertaining and a lot more fun! Especially as we can pretty much customise our game to suit our individual likes and dislikes etc, because of your mods.

Hi Squinge, I read that we should make requests in the same thread as any earlier ones we've made so hope I am doing this right LOL

I had been using Objects no route fail anim mod from MATY (I think) so that I can keep other non household sims out without them complaining about locked doors etc, however after reading further through all the threads here I figured thats why my no drop baby mod doesnt work as it should. So to be able to use the baby mod I was wondering if its possible to have a mod that
would work with it to stop the sims whingeing about going to a locked door? I did a search but unless I missed it I don't think that has been asked for yet?
I like to be able to allow or disallow visitors into the house, and all the other door mods are fine, but they don't stop the complaining. Thank you very much for all the work you do for us, makes things so much easier to play this game!!

My game exploded and I had to redownload all my hacks as of the day before yesterday; when I scored this one again the "me" Sim in my game promptly got married and rolled this fear. Is the most recent version in conflict with the "buy maternity" mod and inTeen (I do use both of those) and would that be the cause of it?

That conflict shouldn't affect this mod, are you using the alternate version 1.0b ?

Just letting you know it works fine for me, the sims I requested it for are very faithful to each other, the only other sims they kiss are the kids, so thanks for making it possible.
