I was wondering if it would be possible to either include this into the "No Telepathy" mod or as a new mod, to not have a death memory for sims that you've never even met. It's really annoying that my sim, or even just a passerby (sim or pet), gets a memory for some random sim who just happened to die while on the same lot. If either would be possible, I would appreciate it.

I have ALL EPs and SPs, so the latest would of course be AL/M&G.

Are you referring to Pescado's "No Telepathy" mod that you want modified? If that is his mod, then you will have to ask at MATY to see if he will do it.

My bad. I had Squinge's name in my head when I was thinking about it. (http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m252/rosesforme17/Smilies/blush13b.gif) So scratch the no telepathy add on. But I would like a mod for this if possible.

Just out of curiosity, how did you get death memories from Sims your Sims never met?

They were other tenants in the apartment building that my sim's cow plant ate.  ;D   But even people and pets who just happened to be walking through the lot at the time of the death, got the memory blimp above their heads.

Really? That -is- funny! Well, I don't get those kind of deaths my Sims get of strangers they haven't met. I think there was a mod somewhere that prevented that sort of thing. I'll have to take a look around when I am able to.

I have a mod for the cow (http://www.insimenator.org/index.php/topic,7061.msg130218) plant it prevents those memories.

Thanks for the info Squinge, I'll check it out right now. So those memories are cow plant based and not a general problem?

Well, if your Sims are getting memories from Sims dying to a cow plant, then yeah. Try the mod and let Mr Squinge know if it works with your current EP. It's obvious you have Uni installed or you wouldn't be using that cow plant.  ;D

lol exactly it works if the cow plant is killing the sims that are giving your sims those memories.

I know the cow plant is causing those specific memories for my sims. But I meant, is it just the cow plant causing memories like that or if it happens in general. I did try this last night with my sim standing right next to the cow plant while it ate a complete stranger that lived in the same apartment building, no memory or reaction to it. So it worked just as it should, of course. So thank you for that mod and the link to it Squinge. This thread can be closed if you see fit.

Yeah, as the description outlined exactly what the cowplant did when it killed Sims on the lot belonging to a family or a Sim owning the cow plant. The cow plant will cause those specific memories.
