UPDATE 28-09-06: because only fools don't change their minds - and mostly because the lovely and incredibly talented Enayla needed them for her demon skintones, the horns are now enabled for all ages and BOTH GENDERS. :D If you just need them for her skintones, then download the "horns-MESHES_ONLY.rar" Here are separate accessories to complete the look of the satyrs; three different pairs of horns, and ears in different skin colours. - These accessories are stackable, so you can use them in combination with any other accessory (but you can use only one of these horn sets and/or one ear set at the same time); - They stay on all the time; - They are available for all age groups from toddler to elder, the ears are male only for now, the horns work with both genders. The ears are available for now in the following skintone colours: - 4 maxis default - Louis tan 07 - Enayla Deep Earth - Beosboxboy's pale hirsute skintone - UPDATE 11-05-06: added ears recolours for Beosboxboy's showerproof satyr skintones (http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=11542) - UPDATE 7 Mar 2007: added Seasons EP Only versions and updated versions of some ear files shared by Beosboxboy on sims I may make more in the future, but they are very easy to recolour: extract in Bodyshop, and replace the texture with the female face texture of the skintone you wish to use (I chose that one because it matches all ages and genders satisfyingly). Mickey, the pale hirsute skintone is originally Beosboxboy's work and wasn't released - it should be uploaded soon after some satyr-specific improvements. Amun-Ra, I'll be really happy if this is of some use for your project... The hairy skintone is one made by me with lots of help from AllenABQ. It isn't uploaded yet, but will be available soon. The way the hairy skintones work and the ones you downloaded today is they don't replace anything in game, they add options for you at creation of a Sim in CAS. Some skintones are "shower-proofed" meaning they are linked to a different nude mesh than the Maxis one. So if you chose a bodybuilder skintone, the bodybuilder would not suddenly get skinny in the shower. When you make a sim you have to make your choice, then children of that sim have a 50% chance of getting that skintone; the grandchildren 25%, and so on. Just like regular Maxis genetics. If you want to change the skintone of an existing Sim, it can be done but is a fairly complicated thing to do. I don't recommend it for a beginner. I hope this explains it. You might want to check on the clothing categories though. I checked in SimPE(I always check Accessorie's Cats in SimPE before importing them), and none of them were set to "naked/"skin", and only two were set for "Maternity"/"Pregnant". Was this deliberate, or an honest mistake? In any event, I've updated my own copies, but you might want to update these here so users unfamiliar with SimPE can re-download them... ...unless it was deliberate of course. ;) Otherwise, excellent. And it always worked when tested in game, which I had to do more than once O_o

They're extracted properly -- they show in the game (I mean there's a slot for them) but there's nothing there to fill the slot -- basically just a normal sim head. I might be misunderstanding something, but it appears to me that I should at least be able to see the empty mesh if I've not properly extracted something else, right? If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator" I'll not mess with the mesh till I see the policy, but can't read the policy on the link.
