Okay, I was debating it for a while, but I decided I want my own thread, and since I have been playing a lot more lately, I will be able to update as often as needed. Hope you like them. I'll just start out with my favorites, the ones I have been playing with the most lately. Here's a few of my teens. I need to get pics of some of my adults and elders done...it always slips my mind.

The picture of Layla was done when she was pregnant, so what you're seeing there is most likely a mix between fatigue and nausea. She puked more than any other sim I have had.

I didn't try to model Jake after him, but after I already took the pictures, I was like, "Hey, he looks like someone I know...bingo!"

Aw now I want to break out my sims.  I haven't played in ages so they're all frozen wherever I left them :P.  I had to reinstall everything a few weeks ago but had my saved games on backup.  Now that I'm sick in bed it will give me something to do.

Glad you like them. I wish I was as good with making male sims. I usually don't have problems making females, but all of my males usually look like poop.

Mine do as well, although.. I'm hoping to take some advice from some people on GOS and make girly men. I rather like girly men.

Same, I can't seem to make decent looking guys either, I'm sure I'll keep them away from effeminate as possible, I'm thinking I'll start basing guy sims off this football article in Time. They all look tough and awesome. ;D

Good news, everyone!
I am starting a new story very soon in the story section. It's going to be from Josh's POV, basically another young, determined parent story, centering on the relationship between Josh and his beloved Kayla. So if you liked my last one, you'll probably like this one. I need to finish up my last chapter of my other story, which I'm working on now. I'm hunting down the last few pose boxes I had, so if any of y'all have some nice pose boxes, I'd love if you'd message me a link. Hi Everyone!
I am trying to get more pictures up of my sims after the move. But suddenly my Printscreen won't work. When I try to copy the screen in my game, it just takes a picture of my desktop. I'm trying to figure it out.

Mods please don't delete my thread.

Are you using a screencap program or the PrtScn button? If you're using the button, try a screencap program, like Gadwin or Fraps. I use Gadwin, personally.

Really, all we ask for is a picture. You can take a picture you've already posted and edit it to make it a bit (or a lot) different (change coloring, add some filters, or whatever floats your boat) and post it here. Technically, it's something new. ;)

I'm using Gadwin. It has never done this before, so I don't know what's up with it.

I will post up some pictures by monday morning, though. Even if they are old pictures. Unless I can figure out what's going on with my Gadwin. If I can, then I am going to post brand-spankin new ones.

New computer Jamie? I had this problem.
Easy fix luckily.
RIght click the icon you use to start your game and go to properties.
Click the "Compatibility" tab, and make sure "disable desktop composition" is unchecked.
Then you should be good to go.
Now... play sims!  :D

Yep, Doris really cares about her appearance, especially since her husband Charlie passed away. She doesn't smoke, uses Olay age-defying lotion, skin savvy make-up, gets her hair done, etc. Diane isn't really into her appearance. She works out in the sun and doesn't moisturize or sleep enough. Causes a lot of sagging around the eyes.

And like you said, smoking and all the crap chemicals going into her face probably aren't helping.

They fell in love in high school. He was a football player (the big guy that does all the shoving), and she was a cheerleader. Randal now works at the town's dairy (Dusk Valley is a dairy/farming town), and Val stays home with the kids and does nails from home. She also does hair and make-up from time to time. The town doesn't have a salon, so she makes a killing around prom time.


Val has had a tough battle with annorexia. She lost a lot of weight in high school and needed to undergo treatment, with the support of her loved ones. After recovery, she got pregnant with her boys, and had a hard time losing the weight until she checked back into therapy to get back down to a healthy weight clinically. As of now, she's happy and healthy.
