Title: Ugh... Skins/meshes Post by: americanbeauty on April 29, 2010, 08:25:52 pm :confused:OMG!! None of my downloads, ie, skins/meshes/cc are showing. I went to Warlokk's and d/l the CPU skins/meshes and followed all links from clothes and other skins that I wanted to d/l and then proceeded to d/l them. I made my Downloads file in the correct place and put them there. I then installed, unzipped, or used the .rar program to install them. Still I cannot figure out why they arent showing. Any help or advice is welcomed and appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Title: Re: Ugh... Skins/meshes Post by: americanbeauty on April 29, 2010, 08:32:51 pm Yes I did. I even removed all mods/skins/meshes redownloaded them and reinstalled them. I added all my games in case the items I was after needed a different EP. After I installed ALL EPs I then redownloaded and reinstalled the items. Nothing has changed.

Title: Re: Ugh... Skins/meshes Post by: Cindra on April 29, 2010, 08:48:47 pm That has happened to me before. Especially after installing a new expansion and/or re installing the game completely.
My problem was solved by re downloading and installing Sims2Pack Installer (http://sims2pack.modthesims2.com/index.php?page=3) and CEP (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=92541). You could give that a shot to see if it helps you as well. Title: Re: Ugh... Skins/meshes Post by: americanbeauty on April 29, 2010, 11:27:44 pm @ ancienthighway the path is:C:\Documents and Settings\HP_Administrator\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\DownLoads
@ cindra I installed both There isnt any change yet, so Ill read and try again. Well some of the items are showing up ingame. I guess my next chore is to take them all out and add them one by one so I can figure out which ones arent and why, lol. Title: Re: Ugh... Title: Re: Ugh... Skins/meshes Post by: Engram on April 30, 2010, 09:06:30 pm Try Downloads instead of DownLoads. The game probably isn't reading the folder name since it's mis-spelled.
Forgot how to delete a post :( There is a red cross with the word Remove next to it right next to the Modify option on the post. Title: Re: Ugh... Skins/meshes Post by: Paden on April 30, 2010, 09:08:32 pm Also, sometimes deleting your thumbnails folder can help, believe it or not.
