Title: Where can I find a program to find conflicting hacks?
Post by: MissBubbles on March 05, 2011, 04:44:41 pm
I'm pretty sure there's one out there, I just don't know the name of it or where to get it. I think I have some conflicting hacks... :/

The Hack Conflict Detection Utility is what you're looking for. It's a good place to start to help you find what's broken in your game, just keep in mind it's not a guaranteed fix. What it does is finds the packages in your game that modify the same global procedures and have the potential to conflict. It won't tell you what is definitely conflicting. :) It can miss the real problem and not list the actual conflicting files, so the best way to track it down for sure is to take out all your mods and find out the old fashioned way.

You can find it here (http://www.simwardrobe.com/). (Look under Sims 2 > Programs)

Good thing I don't have that many hacks, and only very few global hacks.

Thanks, Joy. <3
