Title: Object error
Post by: poundingheart on May 06, 2006, 06:04:32 pm
I have downloaded the project and I am very impressed with the hard work that has been done. WOW is a good way to express the impression I got when I first saw this project. I Have a problem though, when I create a person using the meshes and dress them, I place them in the game and next time I load the game, I get a message saying Object Error, something about a treestring needs to be reset sorry I should take a picture and post it. Does this mean I havent downloaded right?

Hmm, I have no idea, I've never seen that error before.  These are just custom meshes though, and shouldn't really affect anything else in your game.  Try removing them again, and create a sim and place it in the same lot, and see if you still get the error... I'm thinking it's being caused by something else in the lot.  Really not sure though.

Object errors are usually caused by something that has been added to your sim, ie. eyes, accessories, etc. It must be caused by a badly written object or maybe one that conflicts with another. Try to isolate whatever is causing the problem and delete it.
