Title: sims 2 clean installer help please Post by: thesexyhunter on April 10, 2013, 09:01:21 pm i am having issues with the sims 2 clean installer everytime i try to download a sim using it they never show up in my game can some one please help and let me know what i am doing wrong thanks

They won't show up as-is, as sims2package files are just a packaged file (like a zip file, but for sims). You have to unpack them to make the contents show ingame.

And I'm going to use this opportunity to remind you of the site rules (http://www.insimenator.org/index.php/topic,100207.0.html), particularly the part in bold letters: No leet/text speak - eg: Lets c whu cn m@ke teh most complic@ted l33t spek ev@rr is not acceptable. A lot of users here have English as a second language and have a hard enough time understanding as it is. To that end, please make an effort to use proper grammar and spelling. We don't expect everyone to have perfect textbook English, but the clearer you are, the better you will be understood, and the more response you'll get to help questions, or any post in general. We are not the grammar police here and understand typos happen and not everyone is a perfect speller, but if you're not using periods, commas, capital letters and a reasonable semblance of accurate spelling out of pure laziness, we will call you on it. Sometimes if you have a lot of custom sims the new ones are difficult to find, while other times they might not come with al the custom content they're shown with, so they look different.

Title: Re: sims 2 clean installer help please Post by: Theraven on April 13, 2013, 12:50:10 pm Did any new files show up in either your Downloads folder or Savedsims folder when you installed them? If not, you might have the wrong install settings in the Clean Installer.
