You do realize that with an accessory like that they wouldn't have any face expressions except the one you painted on them? Photoskinning also tends to look awful done that way.

You might have better luck making a skintone. It's more work, but the result often ends up looking much better.

(I'm struggling more with the 'why', since making a mask like that would make the sim into nothing more than a moving mannequin, because of the lack of face espressions. An accessory mask would also make it impossble to sculpt the face, so the texture of the face wouldn't fit the shape of the face, and the sim would still not look anything like the model you're trying to make).
