Title: How to edit family tree on sims 2 MAC
Post by: Tophoej on February 12, 2015, 08:46:08 am
two of my children got taken away, a baby and a child, and I know I can get them back with adoption, but then they will not be children of their real parents. How do I edit the family tree back to the "starting point"?
I heard about something with a download, but I'm not sure how to do it, and if it works for mac-users too?

Thanks!!

What did you hear, and what specific download was it referring to?

Family relations can be edited using SimPE. But I don't know if SimPE is Mac-friendly or not.

I'm pretty sure it was SimPE..! I found this reply to same question as mine (just without MAC):

"If you go to the website http://www.insimenator.net/

Register for free (it's worth it they've got some great stuff)

Once registered look at the Navigation Bar on the left of the page and then to Contributor Gallery

The link directly below says InSIMenator Downloads - Click it

Select your language (english obviously)

Click on - InSIMenator (UV) v2.7b Editions - September 23, 2007

Click on the Highlighted HERE

On the new page that comes up scroll down a little until you come across three zip files (you will need a zippy program to install them i reccomend WinRAR if you dont have one already just google it)

Select ONLY ONE to download I would choose the one labelled InSIMenator (UV) v2.8 SIM Edition.zip (670.5 KB, 25642 views)

You just download it, unzip it and put it in your downloads folder for the sims 2"
