Title: Help finding the skin DNA code in Simpe
Post by: mugwump on July 15, 2021, 04:13:09 pm
I am curious and quite sure there is a way to do this. I'm trying to load a skin file in Simpe, find the code used for determining the genetic skin of a sim. I would like to then, pull up the sim in Simpe and change their skin manually. I thought it was the creator code for the skin, but it appears to not be the case. Does anyone have any information to share that may be of help?

It's pretty SIM-ple. :-)

Open the skinfile with SimPE.
Click the Skin Tone XML entry in the Resource Tree.
Click the entry (Pale, Light, Medium, Dark, etc) that then shows in the Resource List.
The skintone code is located in the Family string in the Plugin View not the Creator string.
