I'm really particular with how I name my Sims, usually. I'll usually choose a nationality that fits them, or one that has the sounds I want, and go through until I find a name and meaning that fits them.

Well its working out very well...you know Ash could even be a Morgan...she looks sorta like one...haha

I had alien twin girls they looked identical during child stage then grew out of it.

I have to say, I've never ever come across identical twins before. The closest I got was Joe and Diana, all my other twins look very different. Like these two...

Albino Bambi I love that picture of them playing with the dollhouse...it is so adorable!!!  CharlieRogan...those Twins are so beautiful...I'm still working on completly identical twins!

Everyone's twins are so cute!! I almost never get natural twins. Trips and Quads hack does it for me! :)

I got *counts* at least 6 natural twins. From which 4 are with maxis-made family's.
One of the twins had to go when I cleaned out my downloadsfolder, because there was no way I could get them all maxis.

Thanks Ashtaroth, I made lots of different pics of them playing with it, but this one was the cutest. :P
And sliimshaydi, it's not always lucky. ;) The first time I was excited, but then the maid that loved Dan got twins, while she was a single mom. By that time, I wasn't that excited anymore. xD

Question: how do you get identical twins? Does it have to be the natural way (cheesecake? ;)), or what?

I don't think that there really is a way of making sure you get them. I think that it is very unlikely to get identical twins, because the game makes (what they think are) new genetic combinations everytime a baby is born, and with twins, the game doesn't have the time to 'forget' that it already did that combination.

And yeah, thats just a theory, nothing smart-computer-people like. :P

But ofcourse, it is possible, as you can see. ;)

I myself haven't gotten identical twins at least. Well, with one set of twins I'm not sure, they never got to grow up into toddlers, and now they're gone..
But from my other 5 pairs of twins, I've never gotten identical twins. Some are still babies, but since they're different sexes, they can't be truly identical, and my other twins have pretty obvious differences. ^^

Thats a possiblility slim but I've had twins that have done that but suddenly when they became teens they looked different...I guess it depends on the game!

I have a pair of trips (one boy, two girls), and the girls look exactly alike. Although, one is punk, and the other is prep :D

this is from an old family I played, they had twins already then had triplets, I had used the toddler poses mod to take some snapshots, and when I "unfroze" them, they all decided they need the potty, then they all sat and waited..LOL...they did this on their own.

I have a teen who's pregnant with quads at the moment, but I'm afraid then won't turn out that cute. Their facial structures don't seem to be really combinable.
Oh well, it's still quads. :P Besides, I had to try out the new Fashion Packs for the InTeenimater.

Quads... i had that in my game i think i would freak! i have trouble looking after 2 never mind 4 at once and plus cos my game would run so slow!

How do you know that the are pregnant with quads?

I don't, but I know that I'll pick quads. ^^
Since with the hack I got there are several ways of using it, you can have a random amount of babies (up to 4), you can pick which amount you want (up to 4) or you can have the original amount of babies (1 or 2).

how do u make triplets or quadruplets :)) i know twins. but triplets? awesome.

sliim, thats probably because you used the hack to pick a random amount of babies.
The amount of babies that the InSIMenator counts is te original maxis-amount of babies. Which means it'll never show you they're having triplets or quads, and that it might not be accurate if you choose the random function on the MATY hack.

Not my first set of twins, I've had a small load, but of two girls, it's a first. I ALWAYS get boys. Don't know why.

The girls are growing. They're cute, but a handful. For awhile they were always either tired or wetting themselves, it was a bit crazy. I think the brunt of the terrible toddler stage is over now, they're potty trained at least lol. And Mom and Dad are finally getting to sleep in stages, although they alternate sick days off from work to be able to raise the kids. (I don't like Sim nannies!) :smt120

Aww to bad most of the pictures aren't working for me on this! I am sure they are all beautiful! The most recent ones i had were twin girls Vannessa and Robin (accualey they were my cousins family on my game but OH WELL! :D) and i have 8 pairs of boy-girl twins in one neighborhood and i have one more pair of twin girls who were born to Chloe Singles named Michelle and Diana. They look almost identical but Michelle has the alien black eyes and Diana has her fathers blue eyes. I can take pictures but i don't know how to get them on here! I will try though...

Its a objects on Shaklins website, like a medicine cabinet, and you can use it to find out if your sims is pregnantand thats the message it comes up with. Make a photobucket account and then upload them, then use the code that it makes when you upload them so you can upload them here!

How do you get twins?

If you have OFB you can give them cheesecake or you could type in force twins ( something like that) or you could download the triplet and quads mod from moreawesomethanyou.That would allow you to change the odds of twins.

We have two aunts who are identical twins like us, and they both got pregnant around the same time. One was pregnant with a little boy, and the other was going to have twins, a boy and a girl. She lost the little boy, and it was so hard on her.

I went back and I remember seeing the boys. And of course, they look fantastic. =]

sorrowfultear, neat idea with the bird names. If you're ever on Live Journal, the Wilde legacy kids, I believe, were all named after animals.

I hate that.I had some really beautiful sims but their children were so ugly.I don't think they liked their children that much either.When the wife had an affair and got pregnant that child was way cuter although the dad was kind of ugly.

I was laughing so loud that others came to see what I was doing. They laughed at the tug of war with the bottle. yeah, there's a menu that lets you choose whether you want to choose (single, twins, triplets, quads) or whether you want it to be random or the original number. This comes up when the sim has the baby, so don't worry if you can't find it.

Yeah, for Albinobambi. This is my 4th restart and the third time I have played Dina with Mortimer.  I liked it so much the last time, I thought I would play them again.  Last time, it was Nina who had twins and Dina had one with Mortimer before he died.  I liked that boy, whom I named Tariq after Dina's and Nina's grandpa. Oh well, I have to play these twins through.  Mortie's got platinum after gaining skills in 5 areas, so I keep feeding him the life juice (forgot the name of it) and he is back to the start of his elderhood.  I want him around to help Dina with raising these twins, because she is so lazy.  I miss Squinge's mods... I wouldn't be able to get Mortie into platinum without them. (reduced LTW) *BooHoo*

I am not sure about Charlotte, but I use Autonomous Casual Romance mod by twojeffs http://box156.bluehost.com/~aestudi1/forums/inteenimater/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=2

In that mod, theres a object to click and get the pregnancy info on the pregnant sim on the lot.

Also shaklin has a medicine chest that have a pregnancy test. It also gives the same round a bout message. I have tried to find that medicine cabinet, but I don't need it with the ACR hack in my game.

EDIT:  The site is shut down, and when I checked Shaklin mods @ sims2graveyard.com the medicine cabinet was not included. Sorry.

Yes it does the same thing, except their is no hack with the medicine cabinet. I can't find the link for it anyway.  Read up on twojeffs ACR and see if you want it.  I think that INSIM and INteen has the same feature. I really don't know.

Okay, one of "The Loyas Twins" got married and had twins who I call "The Stuart Twins" I love them both... I dont know if the sims considered their father a twin but they did consider their twins.

I just remebered that When I generated the father and his sister, I used two of the same sims for the parents. I just reversed the males role. So I guess that is another "The Stuart Twins"

Thanks awtm10. Nice looking sims you have there also.  I love the eyes, their genetics will be the marker in knowing who is kin to whom.

I modeled them areound my real family. Majority of them are light-skin, but the genetics of the twins each went specifically to one parent. I hope they have another baby with a mixture.

Oh and WOW!! YOur family is "Jynormous". I admire the size. I once had a family like that. I think I had 8 kids... all accidents. Everytime I heard that music play, I'd say why did I do that. :sign5:

My self-sim only had four kids, and now the boys are all having their kids, my sim daughter is still in university and I now I have a new grandchild on the way. My sim son Kanye and Lucy Burb are expecting, giving her father a platinum when it is born. I can't wait. LOL!

I would be okay if I had twins. I still have to get used to playing, its been a while juggling babies and toddlers. Once they turn children, its gets easier. Just focus on getting them to do their homework on a regular basis.

Matilde and Beatriz are so cute. I love the name Beatriz(and all variants). I have a grand-aunt named Beatrice. :)

Maybe is because of the languague. Beatrice is france or  maybe English, I don´t know, :smt120 but Beatriz is in Portuguese.

I have to look it up on a baby name site. But I know Marguerite, Flora, Virginia,  and Fanny are Latin names. Is that close to portugese. Oh and all of those names are my Grandaunts, I saw them on the baby name site.

I really like those twins Thrior!!! Jin and Iris also have similarities too, which is not common. I have to get into my game, it seems hard for me to play my family(ies) nowadays.

I remember Jin and Iris as kids! Glad to see they grew up well.
