Title: The Hello Kitty Collection *various sizes* FILE NOW UP!
Post by: karialSim on August 20, 2006, 05:27:14 pm
First of all, a HUGE thank you to Warlokk for the hi-res bodyshape meshes! They are fabulous, and I'm having way too much fun with them!

Who says adult women can't wear cute t-shirts? Or that large breasted women can't? I know I have quite a few, and my Sims love to wear them. So I give you some cutsie Hello Kitty t-shirts in the following sizes for Warlokk's meshes.

34 A
36 DDDnatural
34 DDenhanced
34 Dnatural
34 Cnatural
34 Cenhanced
34 Denhanced
36 DDDenhanced

The sized noted on the picture are correct to the best of my knowledge. Stupid me forgot to write down which image went with which size when I made them, but I'm pretty sure they are correct. If not, well you will still have all of them and they *should* have a pop up info thingy telling you what size it is.

I hope you like them! I do have a few teen D shirts made, but I'm planning a few more to upload them all together.

***Right now, I can't actually upload the individual pictures, or the rar file. So consider this a preview. LOL As soon as I can, I'll get the files uploaded for you.***

They're cute AND there is one in one of my Sim's size (34C Natural ... NOT the easiest to get clothes for!). Plus, there's another one for my 34A Sim. Thank you!

Good news: You can convert any of the stuff from other sizes to 34C Natural with a quick run through Body Shop.

There's a tutorial topic about it Somewhere Around Here, but since I'm not having any luck finding it at the moment:
  • Quit your game.  (That's the hardest part.)
  • Install the garment you want in your game, even if it's not the right size.
  • Start Body Shop.
  • Choose a 34C Natural item that matches the one you want.  (Such as T-shirt for a T-shirt, or a tank top for a tank top.)  Load it and save the project.  Quit out of that project; Body Shop will keep it for you.
  • Choose the wrong-size garment and save it as a different project.  (It's a good idea to put a note in your filename indicating the size.)
  • In Windows Explorer, navigate to the project folder for the wrong size garment.  It will be in My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Projects\yourprojectname.  (Just leave Body Shop running; you'll be right back to it in a minute.)
  • Select all the .bmp files from the wrong-size garment (not the .package file) and control-C to copy.
  • Go up one folder and find the folder for the right-size garment.  Open it.
  • Paste (control-V) the .bmp files into that folder.  Let them overwrite the existing files.
  • Go back to Body Shop.
  • Quit out of the wrong-size garment.
  • Reload the saved project for the right-sized garment.
  • Click on the little arrow icon to reload the garment.  You should see what you want on the model.
  • Type something intelligible in the Tool Tip line and save the garment to your game.
  • Now you can quit Body Shop, start up your game, and enjoy!

The short version this procedure: Just copy the .bmp files from the garment you want over a project that's the size you want. As long as the meshes are compatible, the new garment will look fine.

If you don't think you'll ever want to use the original 56DDDDD version in your game, it's OK to delete that version.  You can also delete the project in Body Shop.

FWIW, if anybody converts anything I've posted here to different sizes, you are most welcome and encouraged to upload the modified garments to Warlokk's Tower.  It would be good to add a note to the original thread cross-linking to the alternate sizes.
