This mod prevents sims from calling your sims to invite them downtown. EP2 is required to use this mod. This mod is compatible with EP3 & all packs. Note: Sims that are friends with your sims can still call to invite sims on a outing. Downtown is completely empty, not one sole building and I have moved only one Sim in the Main hood. All she knew was the mailgirl that brings bills. There's only 3 chars now in the hood, the one I created, the mailgirl and the papergirl. First call, the mailgirl invited my Sim downtown (there's no way to go). I came back to redownload the hack cause the one I had has no modification at all compared to the original. The redownloaded one is exactly the same. So, it is not working. Anything I'm missing?

Have you tried the sims 2 hack conflict detection utility? (http://www.simwardrobe.com) to check for a possible hack conflict. Your NoPartyPopup file is also causing problems in my game now for some reason. With it installed I can no longer complete a party invite unless I have the game on triple speed.

Here's another of your mods that my Sims insist on having. It worked great through Pets but now with Seasons it doesn't work any longer. I read the thread here and decided I would get some information before I just told you it didn't work for me. I re-downloaded the mod so I was as current as I could be on it. Then, I ran SW's Hack Conflict Utility and got "0 possible conflicts". Then, to be sure, I removed the entire Downloads folder to my desktop. I created a new Downloads folder and put ONLY the 2 files from the unzip of the "StopInvitingDowntown" unzip. (StopInvitingDowntown.package and mod description.txt) in the Downloads folder then ran the game. Made a new Sim, put them on a new lot, built a quick house and set them to studying. The three neighbors came around at 12:30. He sent them home then had lunch and sat down to study again. By 3 pm the phone rang and a Sim my Sim had never heard of called and asked him to go downtown.
