It all started with a bug - Crumplebutt entering my sims house in Pleasantview - a house which is NOT Downtown! :rofl:

I started it on a forum so the first part is everything from there and needs adjusting and isn't labled as chapter 1(it's more like "WTF is She doing HERE!")
I'll get it sorted out one of these days.

Not doing to bad considering I never meant it to be an ongoing story (or learning how to use a blog) and it has no planned out plot - I have no idea what is going to happen next :lol: but a few friends enjoy reading about whats happening in my hood and have encourged me to keep updating.

I figured since I'm already up to chapter 13, I should have a thread here for it incase anyone else wants to read it, it's good for a few laughs anyway :lol:

I update usually the day after playing, I usually play for atleast 6 hours at a time so I usually have enough for two chapters. When/How often I play depends on my health, I'm disabled and sometimes I'm just way to tired to play but I rarely go more then a few days without playing.

So anyway...I hope you enjoy reading about my sims :daisy:

Lol, I can't say I have time to play for six hours a day (dude, when do you sleep!?) and I have to sneak on, but our simming habbits are the same. Wow, 13 chapters, and I've only read two! The first one was funny - with the Crumplebutt thing - haha - and then how a Midsummers Night Dream was recreated with everybody loving // cheating on somebody else :P Ha!

Oh, I've played for up to 14 hours :lol:  Sometimes insomnia sucks but sometimes it's great! :bounce:

I was going to play last night but we lost our power, didn't get it back for 6 1/2 hours :cry: probably just as well, 2 am really isn't a good time to start playing :lol:

I'm happy to hear/read that you've gotten a few laughs from the first 2 chapters, laughing is good for you! :b

sleepycat beautifull blog I'm gonna set some time aside to have a really good look at it and read the whole story btw is that kitty in your avatar your pet it's so cute I have a weakness for black kitty's my own is all black too!

starlucid, thank you :)  no sadly it's not my kitty although I did have one just like it a long time ago. Right now I'm owned by two orange&white males :lol:

sleepy I'm having a good laugh at this story!  It's soo funny!  I finally got time to do a little more reading and it's very cool I'm enjoying it.  It's almost like they have their own little soap opera and we get to peek in since they are doing all this on their own!

I'm hooked now so I go back to read some more only thing is......somehow I lose my chapter when I click to comment so I end up having to get out to get back in which I don't mind cause I gotta read some more LOL!

It gave me a good chuckle. loved it :)

The comments are a real pain, I just read through them (thank you) and then I changed the settings so more comments can't be left. It's not that I don't like reading them, it's just I have no way to check for them easily (other then having a message sent to me that there is a comment and I rarely check my mail :lol:)

So anyway, if anyone wants to comment or ask me anything they can always post here or whatever. Which reminds me I need to add links to here and MATY.

sleepycat  I'm finally caught up with your hood!  Oh my! LOL!  I think somebody needs to come up with a VD hack it would be funny except I think your hood would be wiped out! LOL!  I't so funny especially those two getting busy while that poor woman gave birth!  LOL!

:lol: ya a VD hack wouldn't be a good idea specially with the way Steve gets around.

That whole giving birth scene was a surprise, my sims like to do that to me! I use a quiet pregnancy hack and rarely let myself check on the pregnancy details... :laugh:

Sleepy!  Those kids all turned out really good looking considering....the breeding is rampant and indiscriminate in that hood!  LOL!

the breeding has quieted down now that I turned off try for baby, although I really didn't need to at this point on Steves Lot because ACR takes the moms ages (and aspirations) and their other childrens ages into consideration so Honey and Sarah weren't likely to get pregnant again anyway.

LOL!  I had the same issue hatebreed you kind of have to get out to get back in.

Sleepy the pets are too cute love them in the pictures....specially with the simmy kids I'm curious your neighborhood is very very hetero since you have that hack does it prevent gay sims?  Cause some townies are definately gay like whats his name.....Cassandra Goths little brother...it just dawned on me that you had that uni couple the college girls but that was way back in your story..

ACR has a gender preference setting, I can set anyones gender preference and/or do the whole hood. You can "randomize" and adjust the odds for gay and bi. It's a great feature.
My townies are randomized but I always end up setting most of my playables to be straight. One of my quirks I guess, just like I rarely allow male sims to get abducted and pregnant. I perfer to play what "I" like and I like guys on girls best ;)

Thats interesting sleepy I would love to experiment with that hack but all those babies would overwhelm me!

Well how many babys they have depends on a number of things - like aspiration, luck, the number of children they already have, the kids ages and the mothers age.
Romance and Popularity sims are likely to have less children, while a Family sim will try to have a bunch :lol:

You can also turn off try for baby by either sim or by lot, which is very handy.

Steve and Sam both ended up with so many ONLY because they were with more then one women and ACR checks the "mother" (the one actually having the kids, male or female) which is understandable.

Sarah just plain got unlucky with first twins and then getting caught by risky woohoo :laugh:

I plan on making the "extra kids" into townies once they are adults :tongue3:

After discovering that almost all of my EA Uni young adult clothes were screwed up with the meshs missing, not just the everyday outfits *sigh* I backed up everything and did a uninstall (then disk clean and defrag) and then reinstall.

My EA Uni young adult clothes are now fine and my hood and CC are also fine, from what I can tell so far.  I then decided to make a couple changes to Steves new house and was finally finished it (again) a few hours later :lol:  so I ended up not having time to actually play but the house is finally ready...again :laugh: and I even remembered to take pictures of it!

I even played around with "move objects on" and I'm quite pleased with the results. I've never really used "move objects on" before...except for deleting some odd thing that was stuck before JMs stuck object remover hack became available.

I have a question - If I place some flowers and then put a bench on top of them with "move objects on" - will sims still be able to use the bench?

Oh, another question - Can sims walk through/on flowers?  ...I have rarely ever placed flowers on my Lots so I'm clueless *blushes*

Ok I'm caught up.  Did you check with the insiminator who the father of Kelly's baby was?  I'm curious she favors Jack even tho she is with all these other guys I wonder if he was the father?

I think you got Jack and Marcus confused with each other :lol: (easy to do)

Marcus was the father, I'm hoping he rolls the 'want' to get engaged to Kelly when they become YAs. I'm not sure if they will make it as a couple but it will be interesting to see what happens :lol:  

Kelly makes me laugh, I've never before had a sim get out of bed and start arguing right after woohooing! When she did it the first time I nearly fell out of my chair laughing :laugh:

Whoa! sleepy you cleaned house!  Those sims are very goodlooking have you ever uploaded any?  I would love to have some of your hunky sims the females are gorgeous too especially the lothario lineage ones.

Edit: Wow, they all grow up so fast. I think you made the right decisions making them townies because then Charlie will never die! (He is my favourite :D) Then it makes more room for new families like you were talking about.

About the excessive use to cheats, e.g maxmotives - I went through the same thing. I then opened up the Burbs and played without any cheats. Nothing, nilch, nada, zero, zip! It felt more satisfying and I didn't think I was missing out on anything.

Loving it so far so keep it up.:) I am now definatly a "faithful" to this story :D

shoot!  I was only able to download 1 female not sure who she is.  Ria and the others require expansion packs I don't have so I have to look and see who it is I was able to get next time I'm in game.

When I get a chance, I'll see about fixing them so they only use base game stuff.

I don't think my sims will be having as much fun once I get a chance to play again. I'm going to attempt to break my InSIM habit of maxing motives & asp constantly and stuff by removing InSIM :smt119

It's why we are addicted to this game!
