Title: Sims 2 Pets Unlockable Codes Post by: kathy on October 18, 2006, 05:27:46 pm How to unlock the codes:
You can either go in through options/Game Options/Click the key icon in the lower right hand corner or you can... 2. Enter a Neighborhood, click the FAMILIES button, then click CREATE NEW FAMILY. 3. Click the Options icon (the "...") and then click the Game Options icon (the cogs). 4. Click the Blue Key icon which opens the Unlocked Sims Gift Code dialog box. 5. Click the Enter a Code Key icon, enter the code above, and click the Check Mark icon. If your code is valid, the Bandit Cat will appear in the Breed Bin. 6. Click the CREATE FAMILY button, click the CREATE A SIM button, then click the CREATE A CAT button. 7. Click the CHOOSE A BREED (#2) button and you'll find the Bandit Cat. I was freaked at first about them because I don't play careers, there's too many fun things for my sims to do. It didn't take long to realize people would be posting codes all over the place but this was very quick and comprehensive. Personally, I appreciate it.

I just wish they would have provided a cheat code so that those of us that don't want to bother with the "challenge" could just mass unlock all the goodies. http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,6300.0.html it has directions for where to put it. Once it is in place everything will be unlocked. If you have trouble with the "pet promotion code generating delay" then also download twojeffs "No Pet Unlock Code Spam" hack. It's is a good to have it anyway if you have everything unlocked because otherwise the game will continue to check for codes to unlock even if all the codes are unlocked.
