Sorry, don't have any pictures of him for comparison - I simply don't own a scanner. You can't really capture the likeness of a dachshund too well, unfortunately. But I tried!
He's a rather anti-social dog, not exactly too bright - but quite energetic, free-willed, and absolutely hates getting dirty. In real life, he also gets a bit amorous around cats, hah. Do enjoy him. I must have this dog! :) He reminds me of one I used to have who looks very much like him. I own a wirehaired dachshund too. Good work! Mine's name was Oscar. The one thing he hated most was getting his bare little belly wet on wet grass. Oh mine loves water, especially dragging his little belly along the wet grass, or any other wet surface. The look he gets on his face when doing so is absolutely priceless.

He's a little tall for a weiner dog but I'm like you, it's the best we could do. My Spunky is a little large for a miniature in real life. LOL He looks more standard to me, even if his papers swear he is little. Wonder if the stretchskeleton cheat might work for making them shorter? Hmmmm.....:lol:

snickers is so cute! i was looking for a dachshund. i also really like your selfsim and the teenage girls from your sig, so i put them all in a house my no-cheat neighbourhood. they look so individual, miles better than the downloadable sims i have seen on other sites that just look like dolls. thanks! I gotta Dachsund aswell but she is a piebald that looks like a milk cow. White and black patterend except a small brown patch on her rear and on the tops of her paws. Hehe could almost make that a challenge to some really good modeller if it was possible. Shorten those legsby about 1/3 and add about that much to the length aswell and you mostly have a closer model Dach the rear hunches would be abit too much work but just those changes I think would make the model looks alot closer. Still a cute dog either way, doesnt help my mother also has a friend that breeds them either lol so I usually get to go visit when there is a new litter or when she gets some new sires that might be worth sending my girl over for a visit. I've got a miniature back and tan one and used to have 2 brown ones (a father and his daughter) at my late grandma's place.
