thanks for updating this, I love this hack but don't you need the LTW for all aspirations to go along with it?

You don't need that mod to use this one but that mod is comaptible with pets if you do use it.

Edit: Um, the Wants.package file is missing in the "LTWReduced&NewLTWEP4.zip" file.  

Oh bless you Squinge I have been most impatiently waiting for this mod and could you please make the alternate reduced available?

Thanks you did that while I was editing my last post to ask for the alt. reduced LTW.  

Edit: You know what?  Now that I see where to make changes, nevermind cause I see some other ridiculous numbers that need to be greatly reduced so I'll make my own WantTuning.package file.  Geez have 6 pets to reach the top of their careers?  That's insane.  One is plenty, who comes up with this torture?  Okay I'll make it 3.  Raise 20 puppies?  How about 10, that's better.  hehehehe

What!?  Another one?  After I wasted 30 seconds of my life reducing the LTWs even further?  lol.  What are you going to reduce this time?  

Edit:  Yes Squinge I had evil fun reducing the new ltw's that came with pets.  I'm assuming that is the only file wanttuning that needed changing, yes?  I didn't mess with the woohoo ltw so my woohoo package should be just fine.  How's your woohoo package?  lmao

Hi, this may sound ridiculous to some, but I'm new to all this moddings to the game. If it's said in the text file that the two packages should be backed up, do you mean copied or moved, or are the new ones to run tohether with the others?
I am looking forward to having more LTW's, am quite bored with the others!

sorry to be so dense, but what is the woohoo package for, and what does it do?  

does it have to do with decreasing the amount of sims you have to woohoo to fulfil the lifetime want?

Yes that is exactly what it is for.

Has anyone tried the new Lifetime Wants with Pescado's LTWvariety hack or know how they would work together? This is what his hack is supposed to do with the LTWs and I'm not sure if the game would even recognize the new wants or know what to do with them if I'm using his hack:

"Lifetime wants for careers are no longer strictly aspirationally correlated,
and will instead vary by appropriate interests and personality. Career-wants
for varying careers may appear outside of aspirational boundaries due to
family influence, and sim personalities will match desired occupation. Crazier
lifetime wants (Marry Off 6 Children, Have 6 Grandchildren) will disappear in
neighborhoods of advanced age and therefore population to slow down Armageddon."

Of course I may be jumping for joy just because I want this hack and I want it to work with what I already have in my game, but I can only decide that for myself. I suggest you read the thread too and see what conclusions you can draw for yourself.

Also my search parameters found a lot of threads, many of which I have not yet read. But the thread listed above seems to have the most in-depth conversation about the issue that I have found, so far.

Great job squinge. Your mods are a life saver. I was wondering can this be used with the anylifetime wants mod?


I am also having the same problems with the new wants showing up. I created new sims and the wants are still the same. They don't show up reduced and I have also tried rerolling them with the insimenator. If you have a idea why please let me know. I followed the directions.

I've had this installed for several months but I've never seen any of my sims get the new LTWs, even with rerolling them.

I'm on a Mac. Is there anything special I need to do to make it work? Does it not work on Macs?

It should work with Mac's but it may take a long time to get the LTW you want after re-rolling it.

I noticed it took almost 30 rolls to see them.

The seasons version is in testing, I wouldn't use this version with seasons :)
