Yes it included parks.

Squinge will probably release a version that will affect only business lots. :grin:

Wait, I'm confused.  (Not hard, I assure you ... )  Can pets visit community lots, or can't they?  I've downloaded it, either way (not taking Fido to the doggie park is a small price to pay for him not following me to work) but I just want to be clear on what I'm downloading.

it works on all lots except unowned downtown community lots, there is a new version still being tested to fix that problem.

Question what happens when you buy a pet on a community lot when you have the mod for no pets ever visit?

I made sure to test a Pet Shop and you can buy a pet with no problem at all and once you purchase it, it won't leave the lot or anything.

One week ago, I uninstalled Pets for just one very annoying thing : a dog gnawing a chair in one of my community lot...

When I saw that, I went mad!:bang:

Later, some packaged lot didn't work without Pets...

Now, thanks to you, I can have Pets AND my community lots safe!

if i still want to take my dog to the park which version of it would i need then, cause i dont want them showing up in my shops but do want to take them to the park.

You can still take your pet to park, there just won't be any pet to meet there.

If you want your dog to meet strays on community lots then download the shop version, but your sims will have strays in they way when they go on community lots too, it is not exclusive to park and cannot be make to be lot exclusive.  You can use Twojeffs visitor controller mod from MATY if you want them off certain lot only.

Ok I just realize there is a minor bug with the alternate version ONLY.

Somehow, it is stopping random sims to appear on RESIDENTIAL lots.  The regular version does not have this problem, only the alternate one.

Could this be fix please, I miss seeing random sims appearing on my residential lots.

I just put the alternate version of this hack into play before seeing MissDoh's post above... I'm not heartbroken if I don't see random Sims on my residential lots... but I am just wondering if the alternate version can prevents strays (including skunks and wolves) from coming onto all community lots period.  Thanks.

Since I put this mod in Daisies, I have not yet seen a skunk or wolf on any of my community lots as well as strays of course.  I send my sims really often to community lots so I would have seen them by now if it was not stopping them. :)

Syberpunk did made a mod for that but it was for OFB, I have no idea if it is pet compatible or not.  Syberpunk mods can be found at MTS2 or MATY sites.

Okay, sorry to be so confused but I have to ask this question.  My sims own a business - I click on the car to visit a community lot and pick the business.
If I want the husband to help work the register and select multiple sims - with this hack, will the dog go to or does the hack prevent the dog from going?

will this conflict with no strays- and no wolves-hacks? Because I don't want them on my home lots either.
This is first time I've ever concidered unistalling an EP I've already paid for -_-

Just a thought, would it be possible to make the hack in such a way that it only allows pets on a lot (any lot) if there are controllable pets on it?  So it's kind of like telling the game "I'm taking my pets to the park and need pets there for them to socialize with" but also "I'm going out clubbing alone so I don't need pets destroying the club's sofas" :P

I'm asking because I'm looking for a hack that allows pets on some community lots but not all of them.  I know there's a hack like this at MATY but it installs a bunch of other hacks along with it that I don't need.

It works just fine for me with seasons. And god knows how many other hacks I have

For what you want, that hack would be your best bet.

Have you checked for a hack conflict? according to the hack diff tool it doesn't need to be updated :)
