I HAD to play it EVERY DAY, even when I got home at 22:00 I'd play for an hour or two before going to bed. It was insane!
Then I got this demo (10 levels) of tomb raider ...and I COULD NOT STOP PLAYING!! So after 3 days the demo was finished, and I bought 2 full games, TR: The last revelation + TR: Angel of Darkness. Both are kind of old news by now, so they were cheap! Now Im obsessed with Tomb Raider... and I don't care about the sims anymore. Its weird. Maybe Ill get back into it, but at the moment its just so *insert gasp here* boring *insert moment of silence here* compared to tomb raider. Sims 2 is about the most benign game I play. All the others have violence of some sort in them, and I gotta have pretty good game physics, or I won't play. Like if I wreck a car, like In Driver 3, I want to see and do see, parts flying off, etc. Not just bounce off like the car is rubber,lol. I bought today 2 games,Narnia and The Davinci code,I'll install them now.Hope it's not about finding the enemies and kill them,I don't enjoy killing games.The best game ever for me is The Sims,but I don't want to get bored with it so I'm trying to find an alternative.I red the Davinci Code and I loved it,so maybe I'm lucky. I mostly like playing RPGs, but I don't mind other games as well. I've also nearly played all of the MMORPGS out there today like WoW, GW, Lineage II, etc, the list goes on. I said goodbye to those though, there's way too much drama going on with loot and equipment and crap... Ugh. No fun at all. Especially with WoW. Great game to just pick up and play, but before you know it two years have passed and you're scratching your head trying to figure out what the heck you've been doing all that time.
Well anyway... got a bit off-track there, lol. Currently, I'm playing Guitar Hero II, Oblivion: Shivering Isles, Call of Duty, God of War II and, while on the subway, Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! on my DS (I can't wait for the sequel coming out this month! :love2:). I'm saving up for a PS3, but I'm not really in a hurry to buy one. I already have a 360, most of the games coming out for the PS3 are also coming out on the Xbox. I've never really liked the Wii so I'm skipping out on that one. It's what split my parents up, my dad got seriously addicted and played all day every day and stopped spending time with me and my 4 siblings, and then they started fighting about it, and it got worse and then they were fighting about everything, and they got divorced. I hate that game, no effence to anyone that plays it, I only hate it for that reason. ;)
Well other games I play is my REALLY old childhood game that I'm embarrassed of admitting to playing, but it's called Banjo Kazooie. I despise online games as well, because most often than not people show their worst side in-game and behave in a manner that destroys other players' game. I was playing Final Fantasy XII for the third time recently, and I mean to play Final Fantasy X when I figure out how to get myself away from the computer. :rolleyes: The best FF ever is VII, and kinda VIII. After that things went downwards. FFX is the one with Tidus character, right? It doesn't worth your time, in my opinion. What makes FF games so unique is their stories and plots. But in FFX although the graphics are beautiful as always, the story is the worst in FF chronicles. Hard to believe it was made by the same company. I joined the MMORG world by playing "Lineage II" and after a year I felt sick and tired of online gaming communities. Thing is people let some steam of real life off in their games. There is a lot of virtual killings and much real life hatre as if this accomplishes anything to compensate for real life losses and failures. Yet, there are the notorious "farmers", people who play the game to acquire in-game treasure which in retun they sell for real life currency. A real plague. 95% of online players use their services to get better gear for their characters and be more powerful, and 100% of them deny it. Go figure.
About FFXII I haven't played it. After all this time Nomura has got my attention again when they announced FFXIII Versus. Although I don't like Sony, now I'm willing to pay for a PS3 if I am to play it. I have a feeling the story is going to be wonderful -- I can't play games with not a good story in the background. Personally I have avoid buying game consoles as a measure of self-disciplined -- I played PS2 games in my friends consoles. This will be my first time getting a console for real. Damn you, Noctis! :D As for Xbox versus PS3, I am told PS3 is better regarding graphics and all, but then again it's Sony, and they have this "constipation" about locking games according to region and all, which can be a problem. [Even their DVD players for TV are strictly and specifically categorised for specific region. So you can't play NTSC or PAL if you're in a different region. Soooo, last Christmas we threw out of the window anything labelled Sony in our house and replaced them with Philips. I restarted Kingdom Hearts a few days ago - on Extreme Mode for the fun of it. It's awful DX I'm also in the middle of trying to beat a LOT of games: DragonQuest VIII Final Fantasy VIII & XII I have a saved game for Orphan: Scion of Sorcery but haven't played in YEARS uhm. Blood Rayne Sims 2 Pets Sims 2 Castaways EQ 2 (Can be played offline) PSP: Sims 2 Castaways (I take this wherever I go for my appointments and end up waiting forever to be seen) As for the Final Fantasy series, I stopped playing after FF III when the company decided to take the FF series to the next level - online playing and subscriptions. Why should I pay to play one of my most favorite games online? And what fun is it in playing the later FF series if I heard nothing but complaints from people on other FF fan sites? *shrugs* Nothing feels as good as playing the original FF I and II series on Nintendo. I at one time also had a PC version of the FF series (I think III) and that was it. The absolutely worst PC games ever: Daikitana (it's horribly designed and played.. enough said! Stevie, shame on you) Tabula Rasa (it was good for awhile, but it gets so redundant and difficult to complete quests at higher levels but that's just my opinion) The absolutely best PC games ever: Quake series (up to 3 - Didn't try 4) System Shock 2 (played SS 1 and then got SS 2 in '99 when it came out - best replay value and spooky stuff) Max Payne Sims 1 and 2 series Anno 1602 and Anno 1502 (US Versions are 1602 AD and 1502 AD) Earth Empire II EQ 1 and 2 The above are what I personally played and liked well enough to keep on my hard drive. Nice artwork too. I'm not really into anime or hentai stuff, but the graphics and artwork were nice though and more refined compared to the original FF series before the online versions.

All other games in the series were for game consoles (Nintendo, PS, PSP, XBOX) and pc. I think you should had played more than just FF III. The artwork is always to die for, for me, of course. What I really like is their concept: anything goes because this is a fantasy world damn it! And the story and plot of VII has already achieved immortality status. :D If you like good stories, that is.

My cousin either had that or three and, being just the fanatic I am, love creating the characters (that's why Sims and I are a good match. Sims 3 especially with all the good customization) and I've just loved Soul Calibur from when I played it at my dad's house. I don't think the one for Wii looks that good, since I don't think my favorite character (Talim) is on there and you can't even create. :mad:

First Person Shooter, lower ended graphics but fun and entertaining considerring its dirt cheap, or atleast it was, we got it while it was on sale. The usual killing mutant/monsters that want to kill you.
It came with 2 gift passes that I could give to any of my steam friends to play the game free for 2monthes which I thought was a nice incentive. Hopeing for a good Borderlands sale soon, thats going on my wish list. HEY Jenna, my brother in law and cousin in law have been playing that Fallout newvegas too but I still haven't seen or heard anything about the actual game play, the commercial just doesnt tell me anything about it and I'm unfamiliar with the game. My antivirus program Stopzilla decided Steam is no longer safe and removed it from my pc LOL. It still lets me play my games and logs me into the cloud, but the actual client is removed asking to be installed with each login. Too funny. Buying Gary's mod finally, wish I'd grabbed it while it was free last year. New game I started is a ps3 console game, Undead Nightmare the dlc for Red Dead Redemption...wow is that funner than I thought it was going to be. When taming wild horses aren't enough, tame undead horses instead..bored with that lets go chase down a unicorn! lol good times.

Anyway, I stumbled across one of my old favorites, which was Sid Mieirs' "Colonization", an oldie so I'm dating myself (don't tell anyone, they'll take me away, I think it is illegal most places), called Freecol, a joint effort by many programmers written in all open-code JAVA. It's a nice blast from the past. Most of the effort seems to be in game-play with not much going to wow you with graphics. Fireaxis has also released the Sid Mieirs game in the Civ IV format. After the incessant problems and terrible program code from Sims 3 I think I'll avoid EA for a good long while.

I've had the original Portal for 2monthes and have never played it, or any of my other games for that matter :D But my collection is nice. Picked up GTA4 with all the stories, that was pretty fun. If no ones seen the gta4 carmageddon vid's THEY MUST WATCH them, seriously you will not regret it I promise you! It's the only reason I bought the game :D

I also tried out the Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning demo recently, but wasn't altogether that impressed with it. Feels like a mashup of Fable 3 and Torchlight. Salvatore and Todd McFarlane, among others, are involved in the game's production. Instead the story just seemed rather flat, and the gameplay mechanics were just...average; nothing really new. Then there's the issue of it not playing well with ATI cards, mostly due to a bug where if you don't disable post processing, you'll get a black screen of doom. OF DOOM!
So yeah, I echo your sentiments and hope the retail release is better. Much better. For now, I'll stick with Skyrim And Mass Effect 3 when its released. I agree about Desmond. I like what they did with Ezio, but Desmond just didn't look right. I really didn't enjoy the Animus side quests where you had to do a Portal-esque series of episodes. I didn't play past number two. So far, Brotherhood has been my favorite. AC III is out in October. Right now I'm replaying an oldie but a goodie, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. After 120+ hours, I decided to take a break and play Batman: Arkham City. Totally loved it. Need to get the new Harley Quinn's Revenge DLC for it. Also gave F.E.A.R. 3 a spin after picking it up for $8. For all the hype it got, it was a total disappointment. It played like a watered down version of Half Life 2, only with more blood and cussing. HL2 had better graphics too. :-\

The AC3 Tyranny of King Washington DLC lately and contemplating another run through of the ME series. I don't know. Lots of game on my wish list, but no money to buy them, so I have to replay stuff. LOL. How is the Tyranny DLC? I've been on the fence about that for the longest time. I'm also thinking about doing another run through the ME series myself. You can only stretch one set of characters so far in a franchise before people get tired of 'em. Although, I just wish Ubisoft would've picked something other than a pirate theme for the new AC game.

I'm finding it interesting playing an alt universe and Connor is a bit more fun here. If canon Connor had some of the [spoiler] abilities he has in Tyranny, there would have been a lot less complaining from the masses. It's short if you don't do any of the side quests and, if I have one big complaint, it's the side quests are far too much running around looking for people to feed, people to save from attacking wolves and people to free from caravans. I've only played part 1 so far, so we'll see if part 2 is better or worse. As for the pirate thing...I don't know. I'm kind of on the fence about it. I was rather iffy with the naval missions in AC3, but Edward is almost guaranteed to be a more dynamic character than his grandson for the simple reason his moral compass isn't always pointing in the same direction as the assassins' are in general. The other good point? No more hit-every-branch-of-the-ugly-tree-on-the-way-down Desmond. ME: I haven't gotten the Leviathan DLC for ME yet. Again...it's a cash thing. I want it though. It's familiar, so I think the one I haven't done yet is the Iorveth storytline.

Now no asking me for comparisons to other AC games etc., because outside of one or two online games and Sims I rarely play. I absolutely adored a pirate game that closed down & I saw the trailers for this and really wanted to try it. Lucky thing it was given to me as an early Christmas gift. Sweet mercy I love this game. It's chock full of awesome on so many levels. From what I understand she is part of the extra DLC so being able to play her (and she has her own storyline) is a part of the bonus. @ Joy I was waiting for pre-order notice when my I was given this so I'm with you there. What I like most is the free roaming nature of the game. There are missions/quests (although they don't name them that) but it just feels like you're doing what you choose to do without all the I have to do X to accomplish y feeling. You can accomplish a goal if you want or just get smash happy and explore doing what the heck you please. As I said I know nothing about previous AC games so maybe you guys are used to that. The multiplayer in the AC can be fun, or it can be terribly boring. I loved AC Brotherhood's MP, but the online play in the rest of the series just seemed lacking. Hopefully AC4's MP makes up for that.

Fallout 3, Murdered: Soul Suspect, Bound by Flame, Watch Dogs, The Wolf Among Us, Walking Dead, Saints Row: The Third (Again) and, most recently Kingdoms of Amalur (again), among many, many, many others. When our 'net goes down due to bad weather, line work, etc. I bounce between Plants vs. Zombies, and the basic Microsoft solitaire game they put on all new PCs.

I also got early access to the The Sims 4 Create a Sim demo and fooled around with that for a bit. It's pretty neat, and already have a headstart on making my self Sim.

Been breeding colored sheep like crazy. Probably have at least 9 different colors (white, pink, red, yellow, orange, purple, blue, green, turqoise - also had grey and black at one point), and at least twice the amount of sheep, plus a bunch of cows and chickens, so now I can't get the sound of sheep/cows/chickens out of my head... I find it much easier to control Edward during free running.

I look at them and think "Huh...need to play this" then go off and play something else. I'm determined I'm actually going to finish AC4 before starting something else, though. I have a bad habit of starting a game, playing it for a while before moving onto something else. Then I rinse and repeat until I decide to back to the first game and, by then, it's been long enough since I played I need to start a fresh game to refamiliarize myself with things.
So, AC4 until I'm done (I'm about 80% through), then I'll decide which of my backlog of uninstalled/unplayed games I'll move on to. They also finished Liberation (Aveline's story) so as you can see they've been quite enjoying the gifts they gave me, lol. Recently though, I've gone back to playing Diablo 3 as a way to tide me over until October when Alien: Isolation and the new Borderlands game come out. Needs a bit cleaning, including the processor.
But next to ts2 i also play Beyond Good & Evil, Sudeki, The Longest Journey, Wizardry 8, Heretic Kingdoms: the inquisition (original title is kult: heretic kingdoms) and Drakensang: The River of Time. Also played couple of VN's like Analogue: A hate story. And played Bully scholarship edition a bit (was first known as canis canem edit). I play Zelda, Alundra, Kingdoms of Amalur and Fable mostly. But sometimes i enjoy adventure point and click games too, when i want to do some brain work out. :cool:
