Post by: alexasrosa on November 24, 2006, 04:13:04 pm
Hi

So...this is another request. Hope you like it

John William Waterhouse (April 6, 1849 – February 10, 1917) was a British Pre-raphaelite painter most famous for his paintings of female characters from mythology and literature. He belonged to the later phase of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood

Based on the paiting: Ophelia (blue dress) or BlueOphelia, presently at the Julian Hartnoll Collection

Ophelia is a character of the play Hamlet, by William Shakespeare. She was a tormented and confused girl and her insanity was a misture of live and hate caused by her phather and Hamlet
Being tormented of scenes of death she reaches out to the beauty of hanging flowers in a willow tree and drowns
