Title: POLL: What's Next for the Bodyshape Series?
Post by: Warlokk on December 10, 2006, 06:58:39 pm
Hi All--

Well, I've just released the last major size set for the full-body clothing, so the time has come to make a decision... what's next?

I have a lot of ideas, and a ton of great suggestions from you folks, but I'm not really sure what I want to work on next.  What do folks want to see more of?  Oh, and no, I'm not planning to go any larger than the 36DDD or the 40" hips, those were difficult enough... :goofy:

Ultimately the decision will be "whatever I feel like working on", but at least this will tell me what y'all are hoping to see next :D

I look forward to hearing from everyone!

Oh, one other thing... is there much need for a 34B Natural full-body set?  I was thinking of skipping it, since there really is so little difference with the clothing meshes when the Bnat shape is applied.  It's a small set, so it wouldn't be that big of a deal, but I don't think there's much need or demand for it, it's more useful in the nudes and maybe the tops which are already done.

Like i posted earlier, i admire your patience to finish such large projects.
I thought of a request corner for myself but just small projects, wat you did, man... way over my head.
Thanks Warlok for your series.

Definitely a huge fan of your series.  Would love to see a combo of yours and Marvine's alpha skirt.

i voted primarily for the alpha work.. but.... what also would be good is just a little bit of the additional base/expansion outfits as well for the various sizes.  Theres plenty of expansion outfits avail, that if they were "Warlokk Enhanced" then, then recolor artists could have a ball. and not have to tweak with stuff as much as the alpha work it seems, from what i read.

Oooh that's a hard one because like raveshade said if the exp outfits were done then I could had a recoloring ball. But then I really want heels. I'm not totally comfortable working with alphas, I really have to work at it and this would give me the much needed push. ( As your stuff always does. lol) Either way do what ever you like I'll download it with glee. I really will. I appreciate once again all that you've done on this project and the mind boggles that you are willing to do even more.

BTW, Warlokk I love the seasonal avatar. *-*

Well if your not up to going bigger, I understand.

(Even though you know thats what most of us want. ;P)

I think you should add some more custom and maxis-based clothing for your current bodyshapes. Because thats the only thing I think is missing, a good sized wardrobe so all our busty (or skinny) neighborhood Sims dont all dress alike.

I would like to see some of those raver-like (or anime-like) clothes that came in the Nightlife expansion pack, those would be neat.

Mixing it up with Marvine would be great! I'm still dreaming of a She Hulk with 34dd's and 38 or 40" hips, but with the muscles and shoulders of Marvine's Female Body builder (with maybe bigger arms of the Male Slim BB.

Do whatever give you the most fun. We will love it!!

I voted for more celeb bodyshapes

all it would be basically is a different breast shape

and you wouldn't have to do a all new bodyset for it (like the mila j)

Choosing between Option 1 (more stuff converted from the base game) and Option 3 (custom meshes) is like being a donkey caught between two bales of hay!

I've been hoping for more base-game stuff because there are a lot of outfits that I'd like to convert to Warlokkian body shapes.  (One in particular: The young adult outfit that Sheila is wearing--white top and gray slacks.  She's 34D36 by inheritance from both parents, y'see.)

On the other hand, there are limitless possibilities for custom meshes!  Anja really needs high heels to go with her long gown!

Title: Elders
Post by: eeebee on December 13, 2006, 05:36:23 pm
What about elder meshes?

So as not to really increase the work much, how about using the adult meshes for the elders?  This was done with some of the bodybuilder meshes.

Title: POLL: What's Next for the Bodyshape Series?
Post by: Warlokk on December 13, 2006, 08:19:05 pm
:P

Can't really say that's something I'm interested in working on... although I know someone else was working on making my adult meshes into Elders, that would work well, but I haven't looked into it myself.

Besides, I'm tired of mass-production, which is what another age group would entail... a whole other series of meshes... I want to do something more interesting now.

Here's a couple things I'm tossing around:
Finishing up the Alpha Tshirt & Skirt for the sizes
HEELS!  Either Marvine's or Bsett's, not sure yet, probably in a miniskirt/dress and nude version again
ComicBook/SuperAthlete Bodyshape (BadLuckBlackie's idea, think She-Hulk, LadyDeath, Vampirella and fitness models)
Voluptuous/Classical Bodyshape - that 50's pinup/Playmate look, all natural and all woman, with a custom Fat morph something along the lines of classic Renaissance paintings figures
French Maid outfit for Persephone

That's just off the top of my head... thoughts?

Oooo I like the sound of the classical bodyshape!

I might do a small base(all one tone) group of skintones using the adult meshes for the elders if you would like me to? and maybe make some of the appropriate outfits available too
I had meant to do it before, but Ive been swamped in college recently

I, too, see little point in making 34Bn any sort of priority.

I can totally sympathize that grinding out full body nude + alpha skirt meshes for (say) [34A-34De][32-38] to start with would be a exercise in tedium-- that's, what, 28 meshes?  24 if Bn gets ignored for now-- and even then, there's still 40" and the back-problem sizes still ahead.  But at least for me, such things would simplify generating portable sleepware with an appropriately mouth-drying va-va-VA-VOOM! effect.  Never in my life have I known a woman who routinely slept in something akin to a body stocking (although I'm sure such folk exist)-- but I have known some who made use of fairly sheer nightrobes.  (The Empire-waisted nightgowns are realistic, of course, but applying a sheer effect to them just gets you a flesh colored garment.)  (Incidentally, this is an argument against "alpha"s that don't sheer gracefully.  I tried netting-skirt outfits based on the hula mesh and the like, but they look like a woman wearing... well, a fishnet.  Not "fishnet stockings", an actual net-- as is, an skirt made from something last used to slaughter cod.)

It may seem odd that I'm not calling for more separates-- given what I'm doing over on ModTheSims2-- but you've already provided a plethora of meshes for that purpose.  Separates alpha skirts and trousers would be terrific, of course, but since so much of the game takes place in a domestic context and very few women put on a clubbing microskirt when rising at midnight to change the baby...  With or without heels matters little to me-- since all adult Sims are the same height, many of the high heel meshes I've seen look to me like the Sim is using prosthetics to compensate for having her calves blown off during the War.

Incidentally, a number of the 34A "fat" morphs already remind me of many of the nudes from the Renaissance - prewar period.    (See, for example, Moulin's Two Nudes Standing from around 1850.)

If you feel like knocking out one or two quick hourglass mesh specials just for flash and fun value, rather than beginning another slog, I've always thought that Biene's heeled nude Carnaval dancer mesh would be vastly improved by an appropriate traffic-stopping set of hips.  Until a scheduling conflict ensued, I photographed the local Carneval parade every year-- and a great deal of the charm was the acceptance of and joy in human-shaped humans wearing blatant costumes and dancing in the streets, unconcerned (at least for the day) with body image issues.  (The mesh I'm talking about is at

Hmmm...  I like all your ideas Warlokk.  I particularly like the idea of combining your meshes with Marvine's heels, and I think the classical bodyshapes is a great idea!

A set of alphas would for sure provide the greatest number of opportunities for clever skinning adventures.

A version of the alpha skirt bottom with heels would add even more bang for the buck, so to speak.

The classical body shape could be a real winner!  But you'd have to invest a lot of time studying all those pinups and playmates; terrible suffering for an artistic cause, I'm sure.

One thing I'd like to see in the classical body shape would be better development (and feminine fatty tissue) in the gluteus medius (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gluteus_medius), with less emphasis on just adding fat to the gluetus maximus and thighs.  Whilst pursuing perfection in pulchritude, one must consideration variations in tushies as well as in boobies!

Mesomorphic mamas: Eh.  Some folks like 'em.

French maid:

I voted for Expansion Set clothing for the existing sizes.  I would love a complete set that would replace the default work clothes.  I hate that when my female Sims go to work they have to change into their work clothes and suddenly their breast get small.  I wish for replacements for the default work clothes.

 Peace!

Title: POLL: What's Next for the Bodyshape Series?
Post by: Warlokk on December 16, 2006, 11:07:49 am
Actually work clothes are impossible, since the game doesn't allow you to select them.  The only thing that could be done would be a default replacement set, which would make ALL sims wearing that outfit whichever size... but since I won't make my sizes default replacements, that's not happening.

I think there are hacks out there that make sims able to wear Everyday clothing for work, I'm not sure... other than that, I don't know of a solution.

Oh, and I don't think there will ever be a COMPLETE set of all the clothing in the sizes... it took me a year just to do half the base game tops and bottoms, and 8 full-body outfits for each size.  :D

Here's something I'm playing around with... it's an update on something I made a long time ago, but only released exclusively for PandoraSims as defaults in the base size, but these will be custom for all the sizes.  They're sort of a prelim step to the alpha tshirts anyway, so I figure I may as well make the tops available too.

Title: POLL: What's Next for the Bodyshape Series?
Post by: Chairman Greg on December 16, 2006, 07:24:04 pm
Yeah, there's no really elegant solution for work clothes unless you want the same body shape for ALL female sims on a given career path.

On the other hand, making everyday clothing versions of the work outfits is straightforward (and so simple that even I can do it).  The hardest part is finding the furshlugginer things!

(For adult work outfits, the resource node is in Sims06 and the shape is in Sims05.  For teen outfits, I finally found one that I was looking for in Sims12.)

Once you've found them, you just create a new oufit of the same type, and then change its Instance and SubType/Class ID numbers in both the Shape and Resource Node to match the Maxis career outfits.  (So you copy a total of 4 hexadecimal numbers from the career outfit to your new outfit.)  That will cause your new outfit to use the meshes of the career outfits.

Then pilfer the textures from the Maxis work outfits and use those textures for your new skin, and you've got it!

Marvine has some wonderful outfits atop her heeled meshes that folks have been doing great things with...I'm just not crazy about the shoes - they're clunky.  Bsett's are so much sleeker and prettier.

I give a huge vote for the French Maid outfit, with a recolor it could be a drindle :D

Still wishing for more items from the base game and some of the expansions.  It would be nice to have different dresses and it would be great to have a formal that could be cut low without the pull at the top.

Somehow, I have a feeling you'll go with your unique shape idea or the fantasy figures :)

Title: POLL: What's Next for the Bodyshape Series?
Post by: Chairman Greg on December 17, 2006, 07:06:56 am
Oh yeah, what VanDerTerre said!  A lot of folks have been hoping for dirndl dresses.  It's an important icon of female form throughout western culture!  (And one of the sexiest outfits women have yet invented!)

Last February, I was fiddling with the possibility of using the maid's dress...

I was working the vest here.  Hence the thin fabric everywhere else.

... and found that it's about 80% of the way there.  The maid's dress has a ridge that spoils the shoulder straps and limits the shape of the neckline in back.  There's also a problem with the stockings; the cut of the stockings and garters are part of the mesh instead of being controlled by the alpha so you're stuck with garters and thigh-highs for every outfit whether it makes sense or not.  And you're stuck with one shape for the skirt.

Most of the problems would be solved by having the dirndl top as a seperate alpha mesh, top only.  Then we could match it with a skirt that fits the outfit and maybe we could at last create the cleavage effect that this type of top emphasizes.

Add in the Walokkian touch with some bulging boobies to free us from painted-on push-up shading and we'll soon be ready for Oktoberfest!

I'd expect nipply versions of any tight tops to be quite popular; several fans have requested outfits with nipply tops.

"Nipping" was becoming something of a fashion trend in Las Vegas while I was living there; they even did televison shows about it!  (It really has been part of the local fashion in Las Vegas for several decades, just not as common.)

I don't know whether that was a local Las Vegas phenomenon or something that was spread throughout western culture.  It's not as common here in Texas but it's definitely here--noticeable but not remarkable, y'know.

Oh, and I love it!

I voted other. :)

I'd like to see a set of top and bottom skintight bases without as much detail. Basically the swimsuit mesh cut in half. It would give skinners much more variety in making winter tops (no bare midriffs, no collars, no nipples poking through wool sweaters).

Also, thank you for creating the Bodyshape Project! Now my Sims don't look so "cookie cutter" anymore.

I'm for combining the alpha meshes with heels.  Certainly Marvine's, but also some of Al's Shoes if possible.  I really think there needs to be more 36d, dd, and ddd body meshes in high heels.

It's a fetish of mine, I admit it. ;)

Thank you for your meshes.  I voted for other simply because it would be nice when our sims get to be an elder they can look as hot as when they were adult.  I wish maxis hadn't made elder women look so frumpy, some of them are hot mama's.  My second vote would have been your meshes on Marvine's heels.  That would look goooooood.  Please keep up the good work, it is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the meshes so far!! My suggestion would be to widen the variety of curreny meshes.  Some of the clothing sections are very lacking (Gym clothes and swimsuits), and I'd like it if there could be some more choices.

Actually there are a few, they're in the Bottoms Set, the very first part of the series I released:  http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=11427

I think you've done a wonderful job so far. I voted for the alpha outfits, since they are more flexible.

If possible, I'd also like to see more shirts that stretch over the breasts instead of being molded directly to the skin.

Like so. :) Maybe this would be an application for the alpha, so there wouldn't be a need for a new mesh for every neckline (just the sleeves and relative looseness of the shirts)?

Title: POLL: What's Next for the Bodyshape Series?
Post by: Warlokk on December 29, 2006, 03:18:51 pm
The T-shirt meshes already do that... as do the Halter tops, and most of the other clothing.  Either could be used to get that effect, depending on if you wanted sleeves or the loose bottom.  However, I am working on an alpha T-shirt for all the sizes as well.

Title: POLL: What's Next for the Bodyshape Series?
Post by: alkaloid on December 29, 2006, 05:12:11 pm
:D I know about those, and I think they're great! I was just hoping for more options (sleeve, looseness, &c) that stretch the shirt from tip to tip (as opposed to mid-slope to mid-slope), and thought an alpha would be a good use for that.  If nothing else, you can make all sorts of fun and sexy peek-a-boo effects with a looser alpha layer.

Sorry, I used the T-shirt as my visual aid because it came up first in the image search. I didn't mean to cause confusion.

Anyway, if it's not what you want to do, that's totally cool. :)

Title: POLL: What's Next for the Bodyshape Series?
Post by: Chairman Greg on December 30, 2006, 11:03:17 am
I've been thinking along the same lines as alkaloid.  T-shirts are an especially good example.  Logo T-shirts work well on the smaller bust sizes, but they get stretched in odd ways on the larger ones.

I'm also thinking that there's only one Warlokk, so if we want all this cool stuff, some of us need to get the tools and learn how to contribute to the project.

Bloom has already started making custom meshes that are compatible with the Body Shape project, with consistent naming conventions.  That's a lead I want to follow if I can just get myself disciplined enough to do it.

Warlokk has defined an excellent standard for body shapes, naming conventions, and even techniques for updating so that existing textures will use updated meshes.  That alone is an incredible contribution to the art!  Now we just need some more artists following in the master's footsteps.

Good point, Greg, thanks... this is also why I uploaded my magnets, although you do need Poser to use them... but with them, you can make ANY outfit mesh exactly match any of my sizes, usually without too much adjustment too.

If anyone wants to take a crack at making stuff for the series, I'm always happy to answer questions, but I'll also first point you to the tutorials I learned from... believe it or not, I was once a meshing newbie too!  ;)

Oh and thanks for the compliments... :D

I must say that I am loving the new "pin-up" set, it's probably the closest to my RL "bodyshape":D .
Are there any plans to make top-separates and bottoms for this size? I need to make some new clothes for my self sim:smile:

Post by: Warlokk on January 08, 2007, 05:40:03 pm
I'm not really planning on it, because I modified the waist area, so they would not line up with any of the previous or default top and bottoms.  However I do plan to make a wider variety of full-body outfits, since I can make one size a LOT faster than I could make 10 or so for an outfit... so I plan to do some pants/shirt outfits etc, as well as a number of other dress styles, for a 2nd clothing set.  I think she needs a couple Nightlife/Glamour gowns, and definitely a Jeans & Tshirt outfit of some kind.

I would love to see a sim in your meshes with Bsett's "Sexy Feet" shoe meshes or any other fancy / sexy high heels other than the sneaker and flat shoe choices....but it is just a thought.  I just posted something like this the other day....

Thanks for adding this, because I would love to see / use more of your work!

Title: Suggestion: Finding a Hacker
Post by: Rsimnia on January 24, 2007, 08:29:17 pm
You already have the meshes needed for a controller of some sort. There are many hackers that could create it. We would be able to click on the sim and adjust the mesh in-game, switching between various tops and bottoms.

Or maybe it would work like a quick outfit change without the menus.

I wish there was some way to add from Marvine & Beosboxboy's "Athletic girl" and "Body Builder" mesh, the WAIST size (smaller then maxis/Warlokk) and fit ARMS and LEGS (guys have you seen "Athletic girl" as she walks away...hubba hubba).

I guess I could sum up my request as "Busty Amazonian Goddess" set (tops and bottoms).  :-)

I voted for heel mesh but the tshirt mesh would be very helpful.

I hope this poll is still open for ideas on new body types.  I would like to see a more squared off, manly looking girl.  The type who would wear lots of flannel shirts and work in an iron foundry or as a prison guard.  (sorry for the stereotypes, but wanted to give a mental picture.)  Someone with a more muscular, masculine build, like Kristin Rohde from the HBO series OZ.  All the feminine girls are pretty, but we need the tough girls too!  Anyway, just my thoughts, thanks!

The poll is always open... I'm not really paying it much attention, but it's open... :D

Actually I am always open to suggestions though... I'll consider the "Butch" bodyshape you've described.  Also my next shape will be my Renaissance Gal, which should fit the bill nicely for the plus-size request, I think.

I have 2 requests that I'd like to make. The first is a "corsetted" bodyshape, with a more slender waist and pushed up breasts, maybe with the s-curve back. I'd prefer it to be roughly C breast size and 36 hips so it falls between the default Maxis shape and the Pinup Girl shape (and the teen size could be the default size). I'd also like to see a petite/slender bodyshape (which could be paired to your Teen A/Small), but I haven't figured out exactly how the bodyshape should look. I love your new full body sets, and your Classic Pinup, Power Girl and upcoming Renaissance Lady shapes will be put into a custom neighborhood I have planned. :D

Oh! Wow!  I feel like a kid in a very upscale toy store with dads credit card.
I personally find that keeping the sizes straight from the different outfits gets a little confusing.
If only there was a way to thread them together for choosing purposes.
I love the clothing that allows 'peeks' that way the 'fuller bodied' Sim can show off without showing too much.
Phew.   I need to get a brown bag and breath into it.
Thanks, Warlock.

That one's coming, actually... I've already made a full-body nude in the CP and PowerGirl shapes with the SexyFeet, and I will eventually make them as bottom separates for all the sizes, since Bsett made it so easy for me by basing them on my hi-res bottom to begin with.  Also, my new alpha outfit I'm working on now incorporates the SexyFeet with a few other meshes, there's a preview at the Dungeon.

I like the idea of the power girl, and I was hoping I could respectfully request some less buxom versions?   Its not that I have anything against a supersized rack (I admire Queen Latifah for carrying it off with elegance and spunk), but a more modest decolletage would be nice.   A little more Seven-of-Nine.  Something that says, "I'm wearing a wonderbra and I'm not afraid to strangle you with it."

It is going to be my undoing that Warlokk is on my list of "must have content" after I decided to curb my downloading habit to a handful of creators only.

Ugh... with the difficulty it takes making just *one* alpha outfit, I can guarantee I won't be doing that... there's just too many combinations.  I will make them for all the new sizes though (CP, PG, RenGal and FashionModel), and others can experiment with more sizes if they like... Mlacror, are you suggesting a teen version of the CP and PG bodyshapes? If so, I second the motion. It'd be nice to have the teens I make have a similar bodyshape at all times that can be tied to a skintone, and when they grow up they'd be using the Classic Pin-Up or the PowerGirl bodyshapes.

Title: POLL: What's Next for the Bodyshape Series?
Post by: Warlokk on March 13, 2007, 05:13:04 pm
Well actually, the Classic Pinup and PowerGirl skintones are already tied to similar matching sizes from my Hi-Res Bodyshape series... I believe the CP is a TeenC-Lg, while the PowerGirl is a TeenD-XL.  I think I made a note of this in the Nudes & Skintones posts over at the adult site.

As for special custom shapes for the teens, well, we'll see... I don't tend to use the teens much myself and did the Teen sizes just for continuity of the main set.  I agree they could use some more clothes, but the size combinations are just a ton of work... however since I released the magnets someone else could carry that particular torch and run with it if they like... ;)

Are you aware that your sets of Teen Female are incomplete.  To make them complete, you need a bottom Medium and full body Teen B XL, LG, Med, Sm.  If you had all of these you would have everything covered in full sets.  Would it be possible for you to make these.
If I am mistaken and you have already done these, please direct me where I might find them.
Keep up the good work

The Medium bottom is the Maxis default, so all the standard bottoms are that size.  The Teen B clothing in the various bottom sizes are in the Bottoms set with the adult B stuff, here:  http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=11427  The nudes and skintones for the size are also in the Complete Nude Collection.

I just checked to make sure, the nudes are definitely part of the Complete Nude Collection (http://www.insimadult.org/showthread.php?t=20158) at the adult site.  They're labelled "MESH_tfBody_B-Sm_NakedHi" and "Warlokk_tfBody_B-Sm_NakedHi" for the small hips, for example.  The rest should be there too.  Make sure you get the Mesh set and the Nude Clothing set, the first two files on the list.  After that are just skintones.

Your work is very impressive, artistic and complete, Warlokk, and I regard it as the definitive expression of female Sims body type variations. :)

It turns out I voted with the majority on the poll, looking for more expansion set clothing in the existing sizes - for example Outerwear for Seasons. I see this as more the responsibility of the larger community rather than Warlokk - whom I see as setting the standards. There tends be a flurry of interest from designers when new bodyshapes come out, but the older forms tend to coast along without full support. Themysticalone's work is an exception to this trend, working where there is less flash to fill in the gaps.

I agree with the majority, more expansion set clothing for your lovely ladies.  I tend to stay with the more realistic shapes;

Classic Pinup
Milla (recently downloaded her)
RIO
Ren Girl
Fashion Model

but I am sure your others are just as popular and have brought some much needed variety in the game.

I was only thinking last night that I have 'nearly' all the bodyshapes I need to make most of my circle of female friends, who vary from petite and perky (fashion model), and now with RIO that covers a good portion of the group too.   When I also look at the states of fit through to fat, then the possibilities are even more varied.

Thank you so much for all you do with this wonderful project of yours.

Milla is a custom 34A Top shape I made a while back in the nude meshes, based on model/actress Milla Jovovich.  It was my first custom shape attempt, and is intended to work with the 34A clothing.  It is now included in the Complete Nude Collection at the adult site, but was originally released separately.  The newest version is in the collection though.

Warlokk,

I've been downloading your meshes for years now. While I do stray from Sims for lengthy periods of time; I still come back to it and allow it to consume my time. One reason is your terrific meshes!

When you started the Hi-Res Bodyshape program, you started with just tops. After what seemed like an eternity, you did full-body meshes and we were all delighted and grateful for your hard work and devotion to your vision.

At my age, I see no reason to populate my neighborhoods with DD sized refugees from 14 year olds' wet dreams. But I find I'm delighted by the Fashion Model mesh with the nipped in waist. What would really like to see are separates for the FM shape. You know what I mean, mix and match tops and bottoms with the smaller waist and A cup.

I realize this represents a truly awesome amount of work. Awesome as in the amount of work required fills me with awe (maybe terror?). But that's what I'd like to see.

The problem is, all the newer shapes from the Classic Pinup onward have modified waistlines... what this means is, any separate made for those shapes will not align with any other shape, either the original sizes or the other newer ones.  This is why all the new shapes are full-body outfits only, since trying to keep the different sizes sorted from each other would be nearly impossible, and they simply won't work if they are not matched with the same size.  This was the main limitation to the mix-and-match sizes in the Hi-Res series, I couldn't modify the waist size at all if they were going to work together.

I can't speak for slickjack on this, but my intent with having top and bottom separates in the named Bodyshape series would be to mix and match within a particular Bodyshape - for example RenGal tops with RenGal bottoms - rather than to try to mingle the separates between Bodyshapes - such as a Classic Pinup top with RenGal bottom.

Yes, but the problem is there isn't a practical way to do this in the game... we have CAS collections that work to some extent, but they have to be built manually by the player, and they don't work when buying outfits for the sims in-game, plus when using Collections none of the descriptive text pops up.  If we had more filtering or organization tools available in the game it might be workable, but as it is, it would just be too much of a hassle to make sure you match the correct sizes together.  At least that's my opinion... of course I've just released the magnet sets for all the sizes up to the Booty Gal, so if someone else wants to convert some separates and see how it works, I'm perfectly fine with that, but I have no plans to do it myself.

It has been some time since the last time I posted a thank you to Warlokk, so let me start off first by saying thanks.  You do amazing work and it's greatly appreciated.

I walk away from The Sims 2 from time to time, but I come back and play it again.  It seems that the newer meshes have caught on like wildfire and it looks as though the originals have been left behind.  Personally I still love the originals and I'd love to see the expansion pack clothing done for them.  Themysticalone did some amazing work and I thank him for that, but it would nice to see the ladies in the clothing from university, nightlife, business, and sooner or later seasons when I get around to getting it.  Does Pets offer new clothing too?  That's another thread I guess.

Title: POLL: What's Next for the Bodyshape Series?

As far as I know Pets does not have any clothing at all, which is one reason why I never bothered with it, besides all the problems it caused.  I do plan to get Seasons however, and will probably do something with the outfits in it.

As for the older sizes, I released the magnets for them all some time ago, and we have a few folks taking up the job of converting more stuff.  I got a bit burned out with the sheer volume involved in anything for the original sizes, and am enjoying coming up with new shapes, so I'm glad these other folks have picked up where I left off with them, and will happily help wherever I can.

So I just put in Seasons Tuesday. I use workout clothing for each bodyshape and use that for outerwear for the ladies. I will change the colors of the outfit usually so I can tell the difference between the bodyshapes. I run a mod to protect them for now. Thanks to your tutorials its easier to do.

Yes, this really got me thinking, for indeed I do find it quite a problem finding custom sized clothing within the game, particularly after the CAS phase is over and I need to use the rather unhelpful built-in clothing selectors at the shops or online with Monique's Computer (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=64137). I have about 5000 clothing recolours in my Downloads, and the whole thing was really getting quite unworkable. So I was determined to come up with some kind of solution, and have found a workaround that I find useful, at least until a better method can be devised. This is the tutorial: How to Manage Custom Sized Clothing (http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=50028).

You could make some EP clothes for 36DDD, or the original mesh, but w/ a smaller waist.

Whats the next bodyshape you thinking about working on or working on? Any heads up would satisfy alot of people's curiosities :)

There was talk of some toon like figure like a Jessica Rabbit or similar, but that seems to fall under the Rio size almost.

How about combining Spicygal, Powergirl and Fashion Model for that? The breasts on the Power and Fashion ones are perky.. something the other shapes don't have. Perhaps it's an idea to make more of those kinda breasts?

True Beos & Marvine may be able to pull something like that off, but it is completely unrelated to my Bodyshape project, and I am afraid FAR beyond my abilities.

I just want to see more of the 36 C set. If you could do versions of popular custom meshes or some more Maxis meshes in that size (like the black or the red dress with heels the Caliente sisters wear, the V-neck dress with a crinkle skirt from Nightlife, etc.) I would be very happy.

TheMysticalOne has converted a lot of the Maxis stuff already, it is posted around this section... as for custom meshes, I generally don't do them since the first time I tried I could not get permission to post it, so I stick with the Maxis stuff and my own work.

I couldn't decide: "booty" versions for the different hip sizes or custom shapes. The celebrity idea intrigues because with all these celeb heads floating around, it would be nice to have the matching celebrity body. Britney's legs would make a great addition.

There isn't a 36 version of either one, just the 34's.  The only 36 I made was the DDD, although some of the named sizes are larger than 34 across the torso.  In my original Bodyshape sizes I had a 36D, 38DD and 40DDD, but the sizes were actually the same as the newer ones, I just named them inaccurately (didn't understand the sizing yet).

 what would be nice is, these volupcious bodyshape series can be intergrate in the games as defaults genetics replacing the Maxis default, and work with the clothing already in the game and other downloaded female clothes from teen female to elder female.:toothy10:
i hate it when i use the volupcious bodyshapes and then the sim ladies decide to change into other clothing and it is like they deflated instantly.
:smt120
I am still searching for genetic replacement bodies to replace Maxis default barbie bodies. :???:

Just a thought.

None of my shapes are set up as default replacements.  It requires making way too many meshes for one thing (every single outfit must be updated), and defeats the purpose of creating a variety set for another.

Thank you for making the different bodyshapes. The variety is wonderful, and I'm glad you haven't made any of them defaults, because as you have said many times, it defeats the whole purpose of creating them in the first place not to mention the enormous amount of work. And besides that if you did it for one shape you would have to do it for all of them because everyone would want something different.

Thank you for your work.

Hey Warlokk, First thank you so much for all your wonderful bodyshapes. My personal fave is the fashion model with vol gal and cp coming in close behind .
Don't know if it would be of interest but what about alien or mutant bodyshapes?Like maybe tentacles or extra breasts or any such oddity?

i love your work, and of those i tend to favor slimmer, more perky & petite ones like faerie girl styled meshes and the mila ones. i like your mix & match ones for teens & others very much as well. fashion model is wonderful & and your fitness girl idea too are to my personal tastes. i could do without the big nasty torpedo fat bags that make bowling balls look small and seem to defy gravity, so i appreciate that you put in smaller more normal sized ones that look more healthy, natural and non-gravity defying.

i have however not seen the less curvy in the waist ones tho.

nice finely defined waists with flat tummies are nice, but so are less curvy waists that flow less dramatically into the hips. not anorexic, not even thin, just not as curve defining. softer. rounder. a tad more straight.

with a tummy.

seems the choice is from washboard fit to nasty fat, from skeleton thin to overly plump. how about a nice soft normal tummy? while fit? how about a fat morph to go with it that doesn't gross you out with uber bloat or thigh expansion? no big butt inflation?

guess i am looking for a middle of the road smaller breast that is non-gravity defying (like you've already done) joined with a healthy yet softer Drew Barrymore-ish type lower half. she's just one example, but healthy belly with a little bit of pooch and less dramatic arcing from hip to waist is very common and is far from unhealthy fat. lotta of us women have a sorta 'boyish' middle, laff, but we are still women. petite & healthy, but with some baby fat!

anyway, that's my two-bits. i know i didn't explain it well or cite better examples, but thanks for providing an area to provide dialogue.

may your mouse glide forever free without power outages!

I like everything you do and am very grateful for your work. All of my adult males are either slim bb or your regular bb(hate the maxis adult males body shape). I would really like to see a bodybuilder shape for the elder male.
Hey...but whatever your genius inspires you to do.

Thanks again!
